My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Can anybody... find me... somebody to... love? ... damn it. Ok, well maybe that last part isn't in the song. :) So there was a brief time between seasons where I didn't have any sports commitments for my sons, but I accidentally blinked and totally missed it! At least there's never NOTHING to do; there's never a moment when I'm bored and wondering what to do... it's a good thing, it really is (I keep telling myself :)).

Well, most people want a perfect relationship... I just want a hamburger that looks like the ones in the commercials. ;) I treasure times spent with family and friends, but 1-on-1 time with my better half is something I'll always make time for. I'll even schedule it in my calendar in PEN! I sometimes consider myself as shy, but no one seems to agree with me on that. Goal-oriented and easily distracted... if it weren't for my attention deficit and short term memory, I'd say I have it all together! I enjoy meeting new people, visiting different places, trying new things, stepping out of my comfort zone, personal development, learning, staying active. I smile most of the time even when I'm sleeping. :) I give unsolicited advice (advice, not criticism) and I'm really nice to damn near everyone. Now where else are you going to find a gem like me???
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My life is a romantic comedy minus the romance and mostly just me laughing at my own jokes. :) Also, I just ordered a Life Alert necklace, so that way when I get a life, I'll be notified immediately!

3 Rules to Remember In Life
1. Money can't buy you happiness, but it's more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes than on a bicycle.
2. Help someone when they are in trouble and they will remember you when they are in trouble again.
3. Alcohol doesn't solve problems, but neither does milk.

On a more serious note, I don't measure success in material gain, but in quality relationships and how you treat others. "To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children... to leave the world a better place... to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
tormenting my children, picking my battles, recognizing crazy, and being an Athletic Supporter. ;) My sons play football, basketball and baseball and I like to take photos of their games. I actually added an album with some of the baseball photos I've taken, so if you're on your PC, you can check it out. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hunchback.

When I asked my son to help me pick from a list which words best describe me, he chose Caring, Generous and Funny which means... he must have forgiven me for that time when I lost him in the mall! Of course, that's HIS side of the story; I remember exactly where I left him!

I'd also like to point out that my middle son (the one I neglect the most) picked those words, so you can imagine what amazing words my favorite son would choose! ;) Has anyone seen my oldest son? He might have some nice things to say too. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Classics & sci-fi books when I was young. Now mostly non-fiction, personal development when I get a chance. I did just start reading "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal" by Christopher Moore by my sister's recommendation.

Movies: Sci-fi/Fantasy, Comedy/Romantic-Comedy, Action/Adventure, Family/Disney/Pixar, Feel Good Movies...

TV: I lose the fight for the remote.

Music: Everything.

Food: Food makes me happy especially seafood, spicy/well-seasoned, hot wings, brownies, mint chocolate chip ice cream, sushi. I'm pretty good at cooking, but my favorite is eating. :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Family, Friends, Faith, Love, Humor....
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The 6th thing I could never do without. Oh, Health... probably health. Did I mention I have a great immune system? I rarely get sick. Can't remember the last time that I was... though I don't spend a lot of time thinking about THAT.

Deep Thoughts: While weeding (most call it gardening... I call it what it is), I wondered if I was being discriminating against weeds; I mean, who is to say they are any less worthy than flowers & other plants. I thought about how some plants thrive more when you talk to them and wondered if plants have feelings & what they would say if they could talk. Then I thought if the weeds were talking to me at that moment, they were probably saying "You ain't seen the last of me, Beotch! I'll be back!" so I kept weeding except now without the guilt.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Ok, this is just between you and me, so don't tell ANYONE...

I'm not looking for Mr. Perfect (we probably wouldn't get along). I've been divorced since 2004 and IDEALLY, I'd like to meet someone I can share my family with (in all their dysfunction) and who wants to share his family (even the crazy ones). Someone who will want to join me at my boys' games and I'd love to see your kids' games too (if you don't have kids, I have 3 for sale), and then sneak out for well deserved grown-up time.

That should weed some people out, huh? :)

REALISTICALLY, I understand that it's a process and you have to kiss a few frogs before meeting your prince, but I have kissed enough frogs in my lifetime and I hear that you can get warts that way, right? ;) So... not looking to kiss a bunch of frogs. That's all I'm going to say about that.

... you feel like it. What do I look like, your mother??? ;)

And speaking of mother... I'm not too keen (a term us older generation use ;)) on communicating with men in their 20s. My oldest son is 17, so that's just too close/weird.

Also, I'm not that hung up on looks, but if you look like you could be my father, that's too awkward also. Sorry.

And if you're in a committed but open relationsihp (huh?), then I'm not your girl. I'm not judging, but that's not my thing.

And as long as I'm rambling, I know some people (men & women alike) think "Why are you still single" and "what is someone like you doing on this site" seems like a compliment, it can also be taken as "What's wrong with you?"... so I'd recommend some other opening line. :)

All right, I'm going to bed. Good Night.
