My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have lived in several places around the country but I have made Colorado my home since moving here in the 90's. I am somewhat reserved at first meeting but I warm up to people quickly when given the opportunity to relate one on one. That being said, summarizing myself is not my forte. I try to keep it light and to not take myself too seriously. I thought I would give this a try for once and see if I can meet some interesting new people.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work quite a bit, which makes it a little difficult to get out regularly and meet new people. Outside of working as a project manager, I like to spend time outdoors with my dog or just hanging out with friends. Colorado offers so many activities and I have enjoyed every one that I've tried but there is so many more out there yet to be explored.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Staying present and in the moment with people … most of the time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't read as often as I used to but I am fan of writings about philosophy, science, indigenous culture, and poetry. Authors I have enjoyed resently: Ram Dass, Don Miguel Ruiz, Carlos Castaneda, Aldous Huxley, Michael Harner, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jala ad-Din Rumi, Robert Bly

I haven't seen many movies lately but Guy Ritchie or Tarantino are classic starts for enjoying a rainy day. I also must admit, I have been known to geek out on PBS programs about science or history.

I have a wide range of music interests but I heart always returns me to my reggae roots. I'll give just about any live music a chance and take in a concert with friends.

I am fan of almost all foods. I love cooking and the endless facets of the culinary arts.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Extricating myself from identification solely with my thoughts ... *8)
