Please do not compare me with all the other failures of men you have had in your life. I AM NOT THEM. I am not the man that was verbally and/or physically abusive to you. I am not ill moral man that always pushed that he love you well constantly cheating on you. I am not the bum of a man that just sat there and mooched off of you. I am not the man that impregnated you and then bailed on all responsibilities of doing so. I am not the man with the chronic substance abuse issues. I am not you’re past so don’t hold me to it.

I may not be perfect, but I'm willing to bet that neither are you.

Take what is wanted in life and then work hard to keep it.
