I am a single father of two beautiful children. I put them first in most scenarios you can imagine. I have turned to this site for romance because I honestly have very little time to go out.

I love running, but I am not really into other sports. I will watch the occasional college football game, but it is not a priority.

I love music. I spend a great deal of time during the game, especially at work, with headphones attached my to my ears. Few things are more satisfying than finding an amazing new song or artist.

I write poetry, but not as often as I once did. I wait for the inspiration to strike, which is most often at the worst times . . . like when I am trying to fall asleep.

I enjoy a night out even now and then, but I feel much more comfortable curled up on the couch with a good movie.

I love to laugh and enjoy a partner who has a healthy sense of humor. Life is no funny without laughter.

It takes a long time for me to love someone. I am cautious with my heart. But when I love someone, it is unyielding. It takes a lot to change that fact.

I trust everyone, at first. But it is very difficult to regain my trust once it is lost.

I am squeezing every possible moment out of each day. I spend as much time as possible with my kids. I search for new ways to improve myself each day.

I have been told by many people that I am a good listener. I have experienced enough in my life that I feel I offer sound advice. I write well. I have a good eye for photography and composing images.

Music: We can have a very long discussion about music. I spent the majority of time listening to some type of music. My tastes are widespread. As I type this short essay Bon Iver crones in the background.
Food: Homemade chili, lasagna, shrimp, sushi, and on and on.

The future.

It depends. I could be eating dinner with family, hanging out with friends, or watching a movie at home. I tend to take things a day at a time.
