My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I find "self-summary" to be a troubling term. I'm a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota. Genuine, genuinely weird. I'm drawn to bookstores and neighborhood bars.

I also have no idea what kind of information people look for in a "self summary." You'd be better suited just asking me.

Similar interests are great, but I also like to be challenged. I like people who can hold a good conversation: fascinating, funny, intelligent--though all three might be a bit much to ask.

Books: Bob Woodward, Richard Posner, Aristotle, Machiavelli, Mark Twain, Hunter S. Thompson, J. R. R. Tolkien, George R. R. Martin, Neil Gaiman. Overall, I read more nonfiction than fiction but I do like both.

Dramatists: Harold Pinter, Edward Albee, Peter Weiss, Brian Friel. If you know who any of these people are, message me straight away.

Comedy: Todd Glass, Paul F. Tompkins, Louis CK, Doug Benson, Tig Notaro, Sarah Silverman, James Adomian, Marc Maron, Eddie Izzard, David Mitchell, Jon Oliver, Zach Galifianakis, Reggie Watts, and many many more. I've gotten quite attached to comedy podcasting, especially Comedy Bang Bang and the Todd Glass Show.

Movies: Michael Haneke, Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Coen Brothers, Robert Altman, Billy Wilder, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Darren Aronofsky, David Fincher. You know, good movies. I also can enjoy some explosions from time to time.

Music: Leonard Cohen, CSNY, Jethro Tull, Marvin Gaye, Talking Heads, Parliament, Sade, Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Tom Waits, Bon Iver. Pretty eclectic. If it was popular during the 60s and 70s I probably know the words. In general I'm a big fan of R&B, Folk, Hip Hop, and some electronic stuff like the great James Blake.
