I think I need to have a prologue to this stupid monologue. To be honest I have never met anyone online tho it isnt due to not wishing to meet a man of quality. I ask myself if perhaps I am too picky with requirements, and I dont necessarily mean looks, but in the music department, well it seems as though the guys that have a knowledge of my musical genre, are quite a bit younger. Then I get the inevitable sexting, which hardly is the way to start a potential relationship, and tho I am not a prude not by any definition of the word, I am also not hard-up. Meeting men is much more difficult at this stage in my life, & it does cause me to wonder why that would be. Many guys on here are my age, it shouldnt be that difficult, yet I have found online dating to sucks!

Music is a must. I love concerts and I do insist on a mutual interest in music. Current fave is the fab Modest Mouse, anxiously awaiting a new release! Love old punk, new wave, alternative. Country music is a no-go for me, not a fan. I like going to the wineries, watching football, and love the Fox, and the Muny. I like beer but have a very immature palate yes Im a Bud Lite drinker. Wine tho, I don't drink white wines much, just havent discovered one that I like. I enjoy a good cabernet, shiraz, or a chiante. I will hands down always pick a petite syrah wine over any other wine choice.

I am an ICU RN in a downtown hospital. After spending the majority of my nursing career in the county, I changed jobs this fall. Went to a Level 1 facility, so if you listen to the news, & hear of a violent crime with injuries..well the person is probably in the unit where I work. I work weird hours so my free time is valued. When not working I spend alot of time lately helping..or hindering my two eldest figure out which college they will attend. Being a member of Gen X, the ultimate crew of slackers, has taught me the value of education, goals, and living up to your potential. The wasted time of parties and doing just enough to get by is not the future I envision for my kids.

Varies, I don't feel I'm exceptional at any one thing, but I am proficient in multiple things. I do attempt to excell in my career, being at a new job tho has put me back on the "dummy" list tho, it is humbling, and actually is necessary. It NEVER pays to be too arrogant or cocky in healthcare.

I dont know, I tend to be very outspoken, I try to stear clear of controversial topics in public but if I am put on the spot or hear conversation I find to be innacurate...well...I will speak up.

My hair is constantly changing, you never know what color or style I will try.

The joys of watching 3-5 seasons of a TV show with no season breaks! Yes I have been sucked into The Walking Dead bandwagon..that being said Breaking Bad is quite good as well. The only other series I have really gotten into is American Horror Story, very twisted but quite entertaining. I simply abhor romantic comedies or the typical chick flicks.  I do read alot of historical novels. I like the aristocracy and yes I am/was a Potter fanatic. Enjoy a good movie from time to time, but do not like just sitting thru movies in the theater, I get a bit bored. I am an avid concert goer, unfortunately the Lou is kinda second rate, and doesnt seem to get the bands here that I want to see. Fave music: Fugazi, Minor Threat, Love and Rockets, The Pixies, Psych Furs, Iggy and the Stooges, The Smiths, Bauhaus, Tool, Toadies, Social D, Rage, Janes Addiction, Jack White anything he does is brilliant, REM,Depeche Mode, The Cult, Duran Duran, Korn, Portishead, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Black Keys, Arcade Fire, Dinosaur Jr, Afghan Whigs, Really am loving Florence and the Machine, she is amazing. The Church, Thrill Kill Kult, Tori Amos, rediscovering Veruca Salts, The Breeders, L7, Nirvana, etc. Was also a huge fan of Metallica, Megadeth, yet cant stand anything after Metallicas black album. Yes I also thought GnR rocked, as long as Axl didnt have a tantrum. Just read domewhere that it will be 25 years ago this July that Appetite for Destruction came out...25 years ago!
