I am looking for a partner in Crime (misdemeanors mostly). I am laid back and was recently told I am a free spirit by my closest friend - although I wouldn't use those words.

I was recently promoted and now work in product development. I am gainfully employed but not career driven. Don't confuse that with laziness or lack of ambition, I just don't let my job define who I am. It is just a gig to pay the bills.

I find authenticity very important. This will sometimes mean I don't filter as much as I should but I prefer well intentioned honesty to kindly deceit. I am a bit of a complexity but enjoy simple things and live in the moment.

I remember as a kid saying wait til I'm a real grown up! Still waiting...I guess? Is there a handshake or cheat sheet I'm missing?

books: early Dean Koontz , the autobiography of Malcolm x, Never Die Easy, Gang Leader for a Day, The Devil in the White City although I don't read as much as I would like. I've recently tried audio books but find that when I listen while doing other things I don't really pick up whats going on.

movies: The Godfather (all three), All of Kevin Smith's projects, Star Wars trilogy, Most of Martin Scorsese's movies, Blues Brothers, The Untouchables and I attend the WI Film Festival annually and never 3-d (not even for Marty)

Shows: SOA, Big Bang, Mentalist, Supernatural and Deadwood
* new Addition Two Broke Girls. RARELY reality television

Also if you find Will Ferrell even remotely amusing or think Greedo shot first then Houston, we have a problem

music: I have a wide range of interests including Blues, Rock, Hip Hop. Most recently I re-discovered Nina Simone and been blown away by the Lupe Fiasco.

My two favorite live shows were Godsmack opening for Metallica and Toby Lightman Unplugged at a small college show. I don't see live music nearly as much as I would like either.

Chicago Skyline (especially the view from Wrigley Field bleachers - Right Field), Sarcasm, Intelligent Conversation, Privacy, Music, and stream of consciousness writing.

Achievement has been Hijacked and replaced by fame.

Usually just chilling with my puppy or hanging with friends.

I can't spell to save my life. I would get extremely upset when someone would tell me to get a dictionary(pre-spell check), I miss the logic of this chain of events. I would need to spell said word and then I could look up the definition of a word. Can you see the fatal flaw?
