A passionate dreamer, a compassionate sarcastic, a former solo backpacker who has always called NY home. On a quest to savor the little moments and enjoy a good laugh, I find inspiration in traveling our wonderful world and am looking to redefine my adventures with a partner in crime (that's where you come in).

I've had to solo evac myself out of Western China, I've danced into the New Year on the Philippines beaches, I saw my first giant octopus underwater in Mozambique and I survive on smuggled Peruvian tamales - these experiences help define me.

I feel most alive on a dance floor, consumed by the pulse of live of music or beats, or engrossed in a good old fashioned never want to see the end of this conversation. Admittedly more urban and adventure spaz than jock (sorry not running a marathon anytime soon), but I will try anything once and you can often find me scuba diving and snowboarding. My favorite animal is the sloth. :)

Music: Anything that makes me want to bust a move, shake it or day dream out a window - from indie to hip hop, house and funk. Some feel good NYC concert highlights over recent years include Portishead, Bjork, the Pixies, The Cure, Erykah Badu, Tribe Called Quest...(nostalgic for the 90s much??)
Movies: Any indie flick or documentary playing at Sunshine Cinema on Houston St., Lost in Translation, Dazed and Confused,
Embarrassing secret: most watched movie in life is Top Gun. Classic!
