Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I hail from the West Midlands but have lived in London for just
over 5 years now.
Studied part of my degree in Colorado so I adore heading back to
the States to visit friends. I became slightly endoctrinated, I
like American Football and stay up to watch the Super Bowl every
year which usually involves lots of aggressive man-like shouting at
I work as a catering coordinator for a private jet company (I
arrange whatever food our clients want to eat and so far, I've
learnt the world is pretty fond of chicken nuggets and
My long term goal is to be a fully fledged food writer, I write for
my own website and have a pretty decent Twitter following.
I'm a foodie, love to cook for friends, try new restaurants and to
taste the culture whenever I go travelling. And yes, I'm Asian and
a foodie so doubly so, I like to take pics of my food and post them
I enjoy art galleries, (especially photography) love the V&A

swimming, Wimbledon, a night in with Netflix and the cinema.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Last year I left the world of Michelin restaurants for the private
aviation industry (75 hour working week in hospitality is not fun).
It's been a long awaited career change that has finally allowed me
to enjoy life a bit more!
I tried surfing in Hong Kong which was amazing, would love to get
the hang of it!
I love to travel and to collect stamps in my passport. There is
nothing more gratifying than seeing a passport full of ink prints.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking. I once won a Come Dine With Me amongst friends.
Making people laugh. I have a way with words, or maybe my brain
just works funny.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm easy to talk to. Or that I'm Chinese!

Right now I'm enjoying:
Books: Anthony Bourdain, Charles Bukowski, Hunter S. Thompson, but
I like the classics as well such as Austen, Bronte and Twain.
Movies: Favourite movie of all time is Some Like It Hot (an
absolute classic), but I love directors like Tarantino, the Coen
brothers, Scorsese, Wes Anderson and David O. Russell. Some utterly
brilliant films I watched recently were Nightcrawler, Birdman and
TV shows: House of Cards, Breaking Bad, Dexter (until they
destroyed it with last episode), True Blood, White Collar, Arrested
Development, The Mindy Project, Girls, Supernatural, Mad Men and of
course, all manner of life's situations may be related to a Family
Guy or American Dad skit.
Music: A bit of everything, but I mostly like rock, punk, folk and
after a recent trip to New Orleans I am obsessed with jazz and
Food: Chinese (nothing beats home cooking) though having worked in
the restaurant industry I have a very diverse palate. It's my
belief to try everything at least once.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My big fluffy duvet and cuddles under it
A mug of tea - any and all!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I used to work every Friday night, now, the world is my oyster!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
