I enjoy playing most sports (noncompetetively) but don't really care to watch them. I hike when I have time, started learning to kayak and decided to (re) learn to swim first (doh!). I spent a handful of years doing tai-chi followed by various dance styles (primarily tango, swing and ballroom, although I mostly contra now), and have recently enjoyed a mild revival of tennis lost eons ago. These are all activities I take part in at sporadic intervals, rather than by any rigorous schedule.
My mind wanders over many topics, and I love a good discussion. In fact when out socializing or at a party, I'm really just looking for a good conversation with a small group that gets deep and thought provoking. Trying to figure things out is one of my favorite activities. In fact it's why I enjoy computers, physics, and learning. I usually take my time doing things because I enjoy understanding them fully.
Music is inspirational to me. I like all varieties, though some more than others. I play some guitar, a little bit of piano, and started learning to play the violin.
Stories are also inspirational to me, although lately primarily in the form of movies and shows (hurray for netflix...I think), although I try to read fiction occasionally to complement all of the non-fiction I read.
