Let's see, where to start? I am 24 and a single mom. I don't mean single mom like I have the weekends off, I mean single mom 24/7 365 days a year. I have a little girl who just turned two and I am beginning to believe that stubborness is genetic as she certainly seems to believe a my way or the highway philosophy. Not that I blame her, I like to have my own way all the time too! People who don't know me say that I am shy. People who do know me laugh at those who don't. I do take a while to warm up to people, more so because I believe that friend is a term that should mean something. Friends are the people who pick you up at 3am cause your car broke down, they're the people who can finish all your stories cause they were there when it happened. If that's not the case then it's not a friendship, it's just someone to party with or talk to at work or nod to when you see them in the grocery store. I take the relationships in my life very seriously and for me trusting someone completely is the end all be all in terms of intimacy. That being said, for everything else I am a pretty laid back person. I am a libertarian, but not a psycho one. Essentially I believe that what people do in the privacy of their own homes is no one else's business, as long as they're not hurting anyone else. I do smoke and no I'm not going to change that for anyone else. When I want to, I will, until then bugger off. I don't really have the time or money for a lot of the things that I would like to do so for now my hobbies are confined to reading, swimming, having drinks with a couple of friends and watching the UFC whenever I get the chance. I would love to travel, specifically to Europe but that's a dream for the future.

I am currently working for an insurance company. But I don't do all the souless life sucking crap that they do upstairs. I just get to play with the mail. It's a job and it pays some of my bills so I go with it.

Listening. I'm that person that people always seem to tell their life stories and deepest secrets to. I don't know why. I think because that line from Fight Club about people not really listening but just waiting for their turn to speak always stuck with me.

I'm tall for a girl. That's usually the first thing I hear. And usually after that I hear that I make people feel short. And then someone asks me to get them something from a top shelf. Yeah...

As far as books go I'll read just about anything and I pretty much always have at least one or two books going. Just finished the Game of Thrones series and I am itching for the next book to come out. For movies, Boondock Saints, Fight Club, Snatch and Donnie Darko in that order. Shows I'll do anything comedy. Music pretty much makes my world go round and one of my favorite hobbies is going to any concert I can scrape up the money and time for. I am a rock fan, which includes everything from the oldies to alternative to grunge to industrial to heavy metal. I lean more towards the heavy metal but if it has a good sound I don't care what genre it comes from.

The life, the universe and everthing? I don't know. I spend a lot of time at the moment thinking about what I need to do right now to get to where I want to be.

Used to be that on a Friday night I was out and about, but now I have a small person so almost every Friday night I am at home relaxing or hanging out with my roommates. Every now and then they let me out of the house to remind me what having a life is like!

I can't come up with anything for this that doesn't come off as way too cheesy or way too much information for an online profile. So I'm just gonna go with if you have a question message me and I'll have an answer.

You have a brain in your head and know how to use it. I like people who can hold their own in a conversation or debate. Confidence is also a big plus. I'm not into guys who are way too in touch with their feminine sides or who believe that the world is out to get them. Nor am I your mother. I have no interest in being the only adult in a relationship, I'd much rather have a partner who knows when to put their big boy panties on. A sense of humor is a must. I love to laugh and nothing is off limits, so if dirty/offensive/sarcastic humor is not your thing then we probably wouldn't mesh. I'm not here for hookups and I'm not into games. I'm not perfect and I've made mistakes in the past that I'm willing to own up to, therefore I'm a big believer in shades of gray. If you're into black and white morality then don't bother cause I can gurantee that I won't live up to, or even care about your standards.
