My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like having fun - anywhere anyplace anytime. I have a good sense of humor. I like to play games of all kinds. And while I am very patient, I am also unpredictable in how I have a good time - I can turn any situation into something enjoyable.

I am looking for someone that I can challenge to be better, and someone who will challenge me to do the same. I want to enjoy life, and get the best I can out of it. I think it would be more fun and enjoyable to share that journey with someone who thinks the same.

I try to keep life simple. My philosophy is to do onto others as you would have them do onto you, work hard and give your very best in everything you do.

I have a very good sense of humor, and have pulled off some legendary practical jokes. I can be a little bit off the wall at times, but all within reason.

If I had a motto, it would be: "Life is too short to wake up with regrets. Love the people who treat you right. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance - take it. If it changes your life - let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it."

The ability to communicate openingly and honestly is very key for me. While relationships can be very rewarding, they are hard work, and do not come with a few bumps along the way. A person needs to be willing to put in the time and effort to make a great relationship happen, and not run and jump ship at the first sign of difficulties. Solving problems and working through issues can be important parts of building a strong and lasting friendship.

Looking for someone who feels the same, and is looking to invest their time and energy into building something that is strong, great, and will last.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am constantly looking to improve myself. I keep up with current events. I try to lead a balanced and well-rounded life, keeping in touch with family and friends. I stay very active and am seldom at rest. I like to keep busy, hopefully making a difference in the things that I do.

I played sports through HS and college, and keep pretty active. I coach youth sports, and have now for 20 years. I find it keeps me young by hanging around kids (ages 12-19), it keeps me busy, I get lots of exercise, and I get to be a positive voice in their lives.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a good listener. I am an honest and trust-worthy friend. I have alot of empathy for people, and l look out for the best interests of others. I am an encourager, who is almost always in a positive and upbeat mood.

Let's start with books....
1) Shine by Molly Wigand
2) Leading With The Heart by Mike Krzyzewski
3) Wherever You Are My Love Will Find You by Nancy Tillman
4) Catch Them Being Good by Tony DiCicco
5) The Best of Success by Wynn Davis

What's next, movies? Oh, this isn't good. I grew up reading comic books so I have an affinity for all things Marvel (DC isn't bad either). The Avengers, Thor, Iron Man.... the list goes on and on.

From there, Serendipity, Good Will Hunting, Meet Joe Black, The Last Samurai, Rounders, Shawshank Redemption, Field of Dreams.... maybe I should stop while I am ahead....???
The six things I could never do without

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life! There is so much to do and so little time. I want to enjoy the journey, and hopefully I can find someone to share it with.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Typical? I can be very spontaneous. (Last Friday I was playing pool and lasertag). Out with friends almost anywhere!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am going to try and share something real and true - I enjoy inspirational and romantic movies, and inside I am a "feeler", not that I am overly emotional, but I feel and care and am willing to expose myself and invest myself in people and things that make a difference.
