I have a passion for animals. Besides taking in abandoned cats, I've raised a kitten from a few days old and have rescued a number of feral cats. I'm currently taking care of 2 tortoiseshell kittens I rescued in a nearby city and hope to find a good home for them.

I've had my share of gourmet and ethnic fare, expensive restaurants in NYC and other places, but given the choice, I prefer simple down-home cuisine. I'm blessed to enjoy what I cook and bake.
