My Self-Summary
I just moved to Baltimore from upstate NY and am excited to explore
this new city!
I started by first "real job" as a high school Spanish teacher in August. It's overwhelming and exciting and crazy all at once but I really love it! Something new happens everyday, and it always makes for a good story, if nothing else!
I love being busy! I really enjoy being outside, especially in the summer, and love hiking or canoeing/kayaking. I've worked at a summer camp for four summers and I've loved it - I love kids! Community service and helping others is also important to me - I worked at a homeless shelter a couple of summers ago and it was an amazing, life-changing experience. I want to help make the world a better place, and I'm trying to do that little by little, day by day. I believe our everyday actions make a big difference, and that we can show others love and compassion in simple ways.

I just graduated from college this May and am starting my first
teaching job!

On a typical Friday night I am
Now that I am a teacher, I am exhausted by Friday! Usually I'm home
resting and relaxing. Saturdays are more fun, and I want to use
them to explore Baltimore as much as I can!
