I'm Rita. I moved to San Diego a few months ago and I'm still beginning to meet people around here. I am loving the city so far, with everything it has to offer, I'm just looking for someone to go out and do this stuff with.

I love to dance. I love trying new things, whether it's going to a new bar/club or scuba diving or discovering a new band. I want to experience all that life has to offer. I'm pretty adventurous. I'm also very laid-back; I rarely stress about things. I try not to think too far into the future. I live by Timon & Pumba's very simple motto.

I love being outdoors and I love to travel. I am incredibly passionate about traveling, seeing new things, experiencing new cultures. I've been to a few countries in Europe, but that's all the international travel I've done and it's been years! I'm planning something big soon!

I'm a little bit of a grammar freak. I use semi-colons. I correct people's incorrect usage of your/you're :)

I'm fascinated by the human mind. Yeah, and I'm a psych major. But really, how does that ball of jello do so much? I randomly blurt out things like, "Isn't it cool how your brain is automatically translating that movie for you and moving your legs and keeping your heart beating all at once without you even noticing?" And people roll their eyes at me.

I love having deep conversations about difficult subjects and unsolvable problems. I really enjoy philosophy. I can become so entranced in the most obscure arguments about how we may or may not actually exist in our bodies or how perception affects reality. However, I usually end up having random conversations about nothing, which is definitely not a bad thing. You can learn a lot about someone in these conversations.

Sometimes I'm pretty reserved when I first meet people, but that all goes away eventually. And then I become a big dork.

I just got my BA in Psychology... and making coffee for a living. It's absolutely what I wanted to do with my degree. Actually, when I was a little girl my parents used to to tell me that if I went to college I could get the best job in the whole world, doing anything I want. And now I have it ;)

I will eventually get back to grad school, just taking a year or two off to enjoy life and figure out which direction exactly I want to go in.

Food: All kinds. I love to dine out & cook & experiment with new kinds of food, although I'm still working on perfecting my recipes. I think Mexican food is making its way up to the top of my favorites list.

2) Music- I have a song for every mood. I LOVE live music
3) My car- For transportation, relaxation, and independence
4) Food- Yeah, because I need it to survive, but mostly because I love it so much.
5) Dreams- Waking up out of a good dream is one of the best feelings; a waking fantasy can never be as good as what the mind comes up with when we're asleep. Also, in the other sense of the word, dreams for the future. Hopes and goals.
6) Learning- Impossible life goal: Know everything.

My life, the meaning of life, religion's role in the world and people's lives, travel plans.

With friends, going out, chilling at home, dancing, sipping coffee at local coffee houses, driving aimlessly, who knows.

I compulsively bite my fingernails. They're not pretty.
