I'll get a few of the adjectives about myself out of the way, first , all of which are completely true (of course) - funny, whipsmart, patient, articulate, and attentive. Oh, and did I say adorable?
I'm also as full of contradictions as the next person and as flawed. I am as vulnerable as I am stoic, low maintenance, and a bit of an extroverted introvert. While I can be very social and perform with the best of them, I tend to migrate towards small groups, one on one situations, and quiet moments.
Essentially, I am a playful romantic at heart whose thought process is a little radical at times and leans very strongly to the left - and who also happens to be a single Dad with a son he adores.
I also have to say that pretense is not my strong suit, both in demeanor and presence- though we live in a world that seems to demand us to be otherwise :) I tend to live in jeans and tennis shoes - the "clean white sneaker" look as opposed to the grunge "I never bathe" look. I have developed an affinity for skinny ties, lately, though, which could be a sign of my eventual decline into conformity.
Professionally, I've spent the majority of my life in the dramatic arts, or connected to the arts in some manner. Presently, I work for a non-profit art organization in Manhattan which challenges both my left and right brain - which works well for me as they are always battling one another for prominence. I also write - and am enjoying the fact that I am completing some unfinished works after dedicating a number of years to raising my son. Applications to be my "muse" are now being accepted:)
I have to go now so I can turn this paper in to the teacher. I hope I pass.
