Heya, I'm Matt. I'm looking for someone who can be a friend and boyfriend in one. I'm a little cynical about my chance of finding that, but don't let that put you off. I'm smart, funny, and easy going. I'm big into affection, laughter, doing activities together, and good conversation.
I'll admit I'm a pretty hardcore nerd. I'm a gaymer, I play a lot of video games, and I actively participate in nerd culture. I love science fiction, fantasy, and talking about said subjects. I'd really like to find someone who can keep up with me in that regard. Have a bunch of useless trivia about a game or TV show? We'll get along fine.
I'm very confident, and have a lot of fun in my day to day life. I can be high energy, and can talk a mile a minute. I'd like it if you have enough confidence to cut through and call bullshit, mine and yours.
I work for a non-profit, and I go to school full time at UC, almost done. I would like to find a man who wants me, but has his own life as well. Theoretically, we have the rest of our lives to spend together, no need to rush. I have goals, dreams and plans, although time to pursue my passions and spend time with those I love is much more important than money.
I love philosophy, and intellectual conversation. In fact, the ability to hold, sustain, or appreciate a conversation is key.
Musically, I'm diverse, but my favorite is Jazz. I also love industrial, EBM, punk rock, and 90's alternative rock is a guilty pleasure of mine.
You can probably guess my movie tastes, mostly action, drama and sci fi/horror movies. Nothing better than cuddling up and watching a movie.
I've begun working out lately, and am surprised to find that I love it. I feel and look better than I have in a long time. I'd like someone else who also takes care of themselves. I could write a book here, but if you think we'd work well together, hit me up.

I'm working on school, and working on myself. I'm a very outgoing person, and enjoy meeting people. Looking forward to the next steps in my life.

Trivia. I retain useless information like I'm being paid to. Mostly about nerdy subjects, but still, mildly impressive.

My hair. It went gray by the time I was 22. It's probably about 75% gray, and I love it, it looks awesome.

I love to read, Robert Jordan, JRR Tolkien, Stephen King, Aristotle, George RR Martin, Kathy Reichs, , but I'll read anything.
I am a big movie buff, The Godfather, Lord of the Rings, Requiem for a Dream, Alien, X-men, Kick Ass, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Let Me In, anything intelligent, or action filled. I'm a fan of smart comedies, but the general run of the mill comedies leave me all meh.
I love television, character development, and good story lines. Doctor Who, Torchwood, Supernatural, Modern Family, Being Human, Fringe, The X-Files, Criminal Minds. I am not into reality shows.

I am either at work, out with friends, or at home. Sometimes I like to go out, run around and be crazy, but sometimes I like to relax at home. It all depends. Love to spend weekends hiking and camping.
