My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Intelligent book nerd, gamer, musician, and general culturalist seeking similar attributes for the adventure of a lifetime. I'm not perfect, neither are you. Don't hold me to the standards you hold your dream guy to, because I'm far removed from that gradient scale. My ideal match? Board gamer, video gamer, nerd, reader, slight introvert with a huge heart and the ability to feel appreciated and give that appreciation to their partner. Curves are a plus.

My MBTI is an ISTJ for those interested in that type of thing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trailer mechanic for Old Dominion Freight Lines. Teaching myself electrical engineering as I learn how to make valve/tube amplifiers. Learning Swedish because I felt like starting it one day. And I build guitar effects pedals as a side job/hobby. Bill the Enchanter is quite the asshole in my D&D group but everybody loves to have him around. My Magic : The Gathering game needs to step up.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Epic air guitar solos.
-Claw Machines
-Making prog music in midi format.
-I'm talented with four or five strings and some good groove.
-I'm a writer currently trying to get my first manuscript to a publisher.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I asked around. Most people mentioned the beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books = Favorite story of all time is The Casque of Amontillado, followed closely by Fitzpatrick's War by Theodore Judson. Anything by Brent Weeks. The Last Ring Bearer by Kiril Yeskov (fantastic read for any interested in LOTR). Anything by Feist. Emerson, Thoreau, etc. Pretty much epic fantasy and Transcendentalist thinking.

Movies = As long as you keep my attention, we're good. A few favorites are Episodes 4-6 of Star Wars, pretty much any Star Trek movie produced no matter how crappy or amazing, Role Models, Starship Troopers, Serenity, Princess Mononoke, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, A Clockwork Orange, Gladiator, anything James Bond, the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, anything from Tarantino, and Goon.

Shows = Burn Notice all the way, White Collar, Game of Thrones, Firefly, Farscape, Battlestar Galactica, Marvel's Agents of Shield, House of Cards. I tried to get into Breaking Bad, but It just couldn't keep my attention.

Music = Don't get me started... The list is long. Favorite band is The Sword. Other favorites include Ufomammut, Myrath, The Black Keys. For All Those Sleeping. Priestess. Mustasch. Kyuss. Red Fang. Go Radio. Ben Folds. Ben Harper. Jack Johnson. Anything 60's and 70's funk. Anything blues.

Food = I like to cook. Give me a recipe so I can screw with it and make something better!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
-How I should just start pasting a bunch of Johnny Bravo one-liners as my messages and marrying the first person that responds with more.
- When I message a high percentage match on here and never get a reply, I always think of this :
- Budgeting my finances.
- If inanimate objects could talk, what kind of stories would they weave?
- Why hasn't there been a full HD reboot of Starfox?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either out on the town with friends, at home gaming online with friends, watching some Netflix, or writing. Exciting, I know!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once defended a lone injured grasshopper from an entire colony of raging hungry ants using only a Chico stick, magnifying glass, and grits. Hop on, young grasshopper. Hop on.

You made it this far and didn't puke.

Truth to tell, I'm looking for someone that inspires me to WANT to be around them. If you think you're up to the task, I welcome your message.

You skipped to this part to see if you fit in my parameters.

You're a redditor.

You've ever wanted to spend a few hours setting up hundreds of dominoes just to knock them down for the sake of art.
