I'm a nerdy boy, both by profession and at heart- building and fixing crazy things throughout my days and nights. I am passionate about music, and enjoy heading to shows up in the city to see bands I've never heard of. I sort of play guitar (both hero and a real one), and sing along with all my favorite songs even if everyone is watching. My next instrument will either be a ukulele or a keytar, but I haven't decided which yet. I'm a California kid, but went to school back east, so you can still catch me sitting on the porch waiting for snow on a cold day. I love bright colors, things that glow in the dark, pinball machines, trampolines, miniature golf, and splashing in puddles.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm an engineer living and working in the valley. I love my job, and get to work on all kinds of fascinating things every day. On the side, I love to tinker with various electrical and mechanical bits and pieces. I have a habit of building crazy contraptions, and often dream of running away to join the circus. Sometimes I get distracted and drop everything for a spontaneous trip to the candy factory.

I’m really good at

Finding Waldo on every page, making people smile, rollerskating, coloring within the lines. I also make a mean funfetti cake.

I am exceptionally energetic, easily excitable and a bit on the loud side. I don't really have an "indoor voice".

Books: The Phantom Tollbooth, A Short History of Nearly Everything, The Twenty-One Balloons, Bipolar and MOS Analog Integrated Circuit Design, Fahrenheit 451.

Movies: Almost Famous, Monsters Inc., Gattaca, The Rock, Billy Madison, Primer, Follow that Bird.

Music: The New Pornographers, Of Montreal, My Bloody Valentine, The Sounds, Blink 182, Margot and the Nuclear So and So's, The Rock-afire Explosion, Dent May and his Magnificent Ukulele.
