I grew up in the Chicago area and landed in Brooklyn four years ago. In the middle, I used to be an athlete and lived in Wisconsin, Montana, and Utah in support of my weird sport. I've also spent some time in DC, Los Angeles, and New Haven. I've got a pretty strong childlike streak in my grownup self, the strongest evidence being I still use the word grownup. I'm fun. I'm nice. I get really, really into new activities/passions. It takes me forever to pick my favorites, but once I do, I hold on to them. I think I'm rather lucky.
**UPDATE**: I just arrived in Dublin. This place is rad.
What I’m doing with my life
I write animated cartoons for a living (see? lucky). But first I
went to law school. It was cool, but I basically identified as an
at-risk-law-student and took a Myers-Briggs personality test. I
scored the same personality profile (ENFP) as Dr. Seuss and,
allegedly, Mark Twain (I assume Twain's guidance counselor asked
him to take the test). This, to me, was a great result. It took a
few steps, but now I'm a TV writer for the younglings, and I love
it. I think storytelling is incredibly important, and I'm happy
that I get to spend so much of my time participating in that
process. I hope to tell stories for-rev-vuhr.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm built like a 6'3" marionette, so that sort of comes first.
