How to describe yourself?

Imagine a phone, a device utilizing combined knowledge of hundreds of years of science, filled with hardware more powerful than computers that few decades ago weighted tones. This device has so much potential - when you use it, it diverts the signal to wherever you want, accomplishing immense technological feats. Some phones can even send signals into space. And you hold it in your palm.

And what an average man does with it?

He downloads an app that makes farting noises.

If such stupidity and lack of hindsight frustrates you, we might have something in common. We live in the age of wonders, surrounded with magnificence, choosing mediocrity.

I try to spend my life doing a bit more. I love to learn new things about science, technology, biology, sociology and all the other "ogies"

I work out, to live healthy and stay that way. I like cycling and try to get into jogging, although it's going to be a long way for me;)

I'm also a big fan of computer games and books. I spend a lot of time in front of the PC, eighter playing or reading.

working as an intern at a bank, looking with dread how my free time is shrinking

Storing up lots of trivia on a dozen topics that, even though useless most of the time, make for quite interesting conversations.
making others laugh, often in amusement, sometimes in shock.

Easygoing, talkative, humorous, mean or sarcastic, depending on how you see it.

Books:
Good old sci-fi like Asimov, Orson Scott Card, Lem or Frank Herbert.
Good old Fantasy like Tolkien, Pratchett
Not so old Fantasy like Salvatore and dozens of other authors. In my time I used to gobble up those B-grade fantasy books like houswives gobble up Harlequins.

Movies:
Classics mostly - Movies by Tarrantino, Spielberg and rest of the big names.
I'm very impressed with directing of Clint Eastwood
I recently watched movies by Wes Anderson that were pretty awsome as well.
Pixar

Anime:
Only the classics like Mononoke and some short series.

Shows:
House, Big Bang Theory (minus horrible laughtrack), Sherlock, Scrubs
Lost before it got silly, Battlestar galactica before it got silly, Dexter before it started turning into a soap opera.

Music:
Everything - Rock, Metal, Folk, Classical, Techno, Electronic
I only dislike majority of pop music and those horrible generic "club hits"

Food:
I try to eat healthy to stay healthy, but a pizza or chineese food with friends now and then are those little pleasures that give flavor to our life.

Computer, books and people to talk to.

How shameful to want only 3 things from life!

life, politics, imaginary worlds, goddamn scary university deadlines.

sitting in front of a computer, although I do enjoy going to a pub every now and then.

That's a silly bracket - if you are willing to admit something, than it's not really private.

You have a bit of bitterness, sarcasm or cynism in you. Honestly, don't know why but with such people I get along the best.
