My self-summary
I'm always looking for new things to learn. My last big project was learning how to build a bookcase. Why buy something from Ikea when you can learn how to make it exactly how you'd want and have a lot of fun with it? I eventually want to learn and build my own bass guitar.

I'm a huge fan of music (enough to chase a career in the music industry) and it always amazes me how certain songs can produce such emotional reactions. Effects like how certain songs can make you happy or sad are why I will always love music and studying why music has that effect on us.
What I’m doing with my life
I got my degrees in Media Business and Music Business recently. Now I'm trying to turn my schooling and background in music into a career as a sound engineer, but I'm also trying to wiggle my way into a writing or librarian position. I want to be one of the cool librarians!
I’m really good at
Cooking. There's something cathartic about it. I'm best behind a grill and make a mean burger and other kinds of meats but I'm wanting and trying to expand more into other areas. I want to learn how to make a delicious cinnamon roll. Or Cheesecake.

Being a caddy to everybody in my life. Way to be duck!

Being patient. I've never walked out of a movie in my life and won't based on principle. And I've been to some bad movies too. Like The Happening. And The Last Airbender. In 3D. Damn it M. Night Shyamalan.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. People make it seem like I have Nestor Carbonell eyes from the comments I've gotten about my eyelashes being abnormally full.

I'm soft spoken.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Frankenstein, The Sea Wolf, The Passage, Let the Right One In, Man's Search for Meaning. Just finished World War Z and it was pretty good and am now onto the John Carter books.

Movies: The Dark Knight Rises. Avengers. Pan's Labyrinth. Alien and Aliens. Guillermo Del Toro is my favorite director.

Shows: Top three shows of all time are Angel, Sherlock and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Buffy, Psych, Parks and Rec, Firefly, Dollhouse and Fringe are all honorable mentions.

Music: Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium, Foo Fighters, Protest the Hero.

Vinyl will always be my choice of format for music. Dat new record smell.

Video Games: Legend of Zelda series (A Link to the Past is my favorite), Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy 10, Diablo 2 . Pokemon. Path of Exile.

Food: I'm a very adventurous eater. I like taking advantage of opportunities to eat weird food because if I end up thinking the food tasted bad at least I can say I've eaten it before. Like grilled python kabobs or a camel burger. Anything cinnamony like french toast or a Cinnabon roll is sure to win me over. Same thing with stuffing. I devour that stuff.
The six things I could never do without
1. My iPod. I've had the same one for at least seven years now. If I ever were to lose it I would honestly feel like I lost a part of myself with how responsible it has been for getting me into the music I enjoy today.
2. Morning newspaper. My days feel so weird when I don't read them right when I wake up.
3. My books.
4. Reese's Pieces. Best candy ever!
5. My glasses.
6. A cool breeze blowing into my window at night.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What songs would be awesome to cover in my imaginary band. And yes, I Believe In A Thing Called Love is one of them.

What I should cook, draw, write, listen to, read, watch next are often going through my mind during the day which more often than not leave me feeling overwhelmed with all the options I have and the little amount of time I have.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either riding my bike or rollerblading after having gone out to eat at some restaurant to try some new food with some combination of friends and/or family. I'll sometimes end up on some frisbee golf course after dinner until sunset if I haven't gone that morning or afternoon.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love fruity drinks. I've never been a fan of the taste of beer (although I haven't had it that often) and would rather have something I think tastes good. Appletinis and red lemonades are delicious and I've been dying to try a strawberry daiquiri.

As a kid I tried to be the The Rock and broke both of my wrists.
