I am sharp, somewhat quirky, and warm.
My Self-Summary
Hi! My name is Luciano, and I'm 22 years old. I got my Bachelor's
degree this past May in Psychology, and though it definitely
influences my thoughts and actions, I have no intentions of having
a career in psychology. I like to
help people, especially when it's in
the field of
health. So instead, I work for a
non-profit in Harlem, talking to people about preventing themselves
from suffering from heart attacks and strokes. It's a lot of work,
but I enjoy it. Why else would I subject myself to waking up at
5:45 every weekday?
That's not all! At the end of the day, I also volunteer on Long
Island as an
Emergency Medical
Technician. That means that if you are ever ill or injured in a
certain town and you call 911, I might just walk through your
doorstep. I can do you a lot of good with oxygen, a blood pressure
cuff and a stethoscope!
On my down time, I like watching the
Yankees,
Rangers,
Washington Capitals,
New York
Giants and
Baltimore Ravens play their
sports, and though I'm not that good, I like to play tennis myself.
I also like comedy. Lewis Black, is one of my favorite stand-up
comedians of all-time, and lately I've been listening to a lot from
Bo Burnham as well.
Those are the big things about me, and of course, there's room for
plenty of discussion, whether it be on other things I do or more
details on what I do. And you may have noticed that I don't mention
what school I graduated from. That's intentional. People make
assumptions about me when I name the school, and I'd rather you get
to know me as a person who does these things and goes to this
school than a graduate from this school who's doing these
things.
I'm a pretty friendly person, I don't bite. I'll be open and
honest, just message me. =)
What I’m doing with my life
I think I spelled it out in my self-summary already, but right now,
I'm working with a non-profit in Harlem increasing awareness of
risk factors for heart attack and stroke, and then I also help
people in their times of medical need for things like heart attacks
and strokes as an EMT.
I’m really good at
being a goof
being serious
making jokes
being approachable
being ridiculous
being a listener
making a difference
making people happier
challenging people
being an effector of change
The first things people usually notice about me
I think people tend to notice my face first. I've often been told
that I look young and have an innocent face that lights up when I
smile.

On a typical Friday night I am
most often teaching the Explorer program at my ambulance department

we stay in and play Guitar Hero. We
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
My lifestyle can seem stereotypically hypermasculine, but I do have
a very soft side as well...And its biggest drawback is that it
leaves me to get hurt too often.
You should message me if
you like what you read, are interested in finding out more, and are
willing to tell me more about you.
Message, and I will respond. It's simple as that. =)
