I'm a city-dweller that grew up in the suburbs. I enjoy new foods. I enjoy them more when I manage to put it together on my own even if they don't always turn out correctly. The start of baseball season is exciting, but I can carry a conversation outside of sports. It's been a few months since I've been to a concert. Which is a shame because it's my favorite things to do on a Friday or Saturday night.

My parents, and some random deli worker, think I look and act like Seth Rogan. I do not get it.

I've been employed at a non-profit for the past three years. Work is generally enjoyable even if I go through some of those really stressful / I hate this phases. With that said, I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. Other than work, I play rec soccer, I'm building a big planter box in my tiny backyard for a vegetable garden, and I furiously attempt to keep up with the New Yorker.

Keeping warm with a beard in the winter and shaving it all off before summer.

Getting (almost) anywhere with SEPTA
Getting everywhere else with my bike
Buying the maximum amount of groceries possible at the corner store without needing a plastic bag to carry them

What I notice about myself is that I always do this weird raised eyebrow thing when I'm smiling for a photograph. I seem to be silently asking, "Are you done taking this picture yet?"

Books: Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Palahniuk, Catch-22. The Hunger Games is my guilty pleasure.

Movies: Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, most things Wes Anderson. I tend to like movies that make you think.

Music: I like all kinds of different music, so I'll limit this to my favorite right now. Pavement, Radiohead, Yo La Tengo, Delicate Steve.

Shows: Twin Peaks is the greatest TV show of all time. I'm also partial to Louie and The Colbert Report. I like a good radio show, too. This American Life and Radiolab are my favorites.

Food: All of it

Can't say I have a typical Friday night, but my ideal Friday night would include meeting some friends for drinks somewhere with music at a volume conducive to conversation or going to a show where the band is playing music at a volume not conducive to conversation.
