I am Colourful, Feisty, and Ambitious.
My Self-Summary
I'm 21. I'm a University Student. I'm a fun and lively girl, who
loves to put a smile on people's faces :) I love music and films
and love the old classics but like to keep in touch with whats new.
I'm English but have Irish parents. It's a good combination
:)
I've got terrible organisation skills and leave lots of things til
the last minute. I am an expert procrastinator. Essays and exam
time are when I do the most interesting things to
procrastinate.
I'm very honest. If you don't want my truthful opinion, don't ask
for it. And if you think you can get away with disrespectful,
sexist and insulting messages, you can't.
I'm quite a confident person, especially on my top days, but those
can be few and far between! I'm really interested in people's views
and beliefs, and like talking things out as I'm pretty open minded
about everything.
I've got love for you if you were born in the 80s. :)
I've also got love for you if you want to talk about
Karl
Pilkington.
"Better than being treated like the goofball...the joker...the
MAGICIAN..."
What I’m doing with my life
Well I'm currently a
Philosophy MA student. So I'm
actually working really hard. I love it, it is totally my passion.
And I am proud of that :)
I’m really good at
Talking. I'm told I talk way too much and have even been accused of
being gobby on occasions! Well I never. I'm also not a bad singer
either. I can make a song out of anything as well. just a simple
phrase will set me off.
I also enjoy perfecting my rendition of the classic Denzel
Washington line in Training Day - "
King Kong ain't
got SHIT on me"
The first things people usually notice about me
My blue eyes probably. Also my long eyelashes. I get asked if they
are fake, and get people wanting to touch them all the time. Very
weird.
Or my laugh. I can't help it though, if something amuses me, I have
to show my appreciation ;)
And if its in philosophical discussions or, well anything - I have
a lot of opinions. Butttt I think that's ok, really.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
a) books -
Harry
Potter (of course) All Chuck Palahniuk books, especially Choke
and Fight Club, 1984, Lord of the Flies,
L'Etranger is probably my all time
favourite book (I've read it in both French and English). I love
Kurt
Vonnegut as well, Slaughterhouse V being a fave. Margaret
Atwood, Jane Austen. And if you are the person who borrowed my copy
of 'Les Caves du Vatican' by Andre Gide...RETURN IT.
I'm also a real fanatic about plays.
Measure
for Measure is probably my favourite
Shakespeare play, along with Othello
and Hamlet.
b) movies - Anything
Gary Oldman is in (And even the
diabolical films he's been in)) He's just the absolute king of the
acting world, and if anybody denies it, they are very weird.

Suspects,

I'm pretty into my classical music as well. It's good for revision.
I'm a huge fan of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 and Mozart's Symphony
No. 41. They get whacked on every week at some point. But my
favourite composer is Brahms. Loving Sibelius at the moment
too.
d)
Marmite is the
shiznay. I've also just decided how much i love eggs, I'm getting
pretty good at poaching eggs, I must say.
I love Kant, the philosopher. He is an actual dude.
The six things I could never do without
1) My friends because I do love my friends
2) My family because even though they can be annoying, you gotta
love them really :P
3) Kisses because they are just exquisite
4) Music because it's just good for all occassions
5) Water because drinking is one of my favourite activities and,
keeps me alive...bonus!
6) Mascara because I like to keep me eyes fluttery and nice
:P
...and 7) because I'm special and I'm allowing myself a special
one...Marmite
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life and whats the point of it - hey I'm a philosopher at the end
of the day! I also think about politics, music, films, current
affairs.
People so often these days ignore things that I think are very
important, and they just fade into the background.
Also, the moon. I love the moon. I'd sooner spend time outdoors
with the moon and stars then a sunset.
I also am compiling a list of philosophers that are alive today and
quite attractive. :D
On a typical Friday night I am
Every Friday night at the moment is consisting of an ill timed nap
because the double vodka after the philosophy seminar knocks me
out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
My dream man is two parts Robert Redford, one part Gene Kelly and a
huge massive dash of Gary Oldman.
I also like a bit of grey hair on a man, never a bad thing.
I love the smell of furniture polish. And petrol.
You should message me if
Well, if you liked the profile. Or if you would like to comment on
something I've said, or have a question for me...or whatever.
Message away.
One thing about winks. Winks are fine but only if you then send me
a message later. Come on, my profile is lengthy enough to find some
point of interest. And if you can't, we probably wouldnt get on
:P
If you don't want to talk to a woman who is opinionated - then
don't message me.
