Hobby professional, sci-fi enthusiast, gaming connoisseur. I've
only recently moved to Tampere, and don't really know that many
people from here, so I'm interested in meeting new people.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm living my dream at the moment, e.g. I just started my own
business in a field, that I've been involved with hobby-wise for as
long I can remember.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Everything by H.P. Lovecraft and Robert E. Howard. Fritz Leiber's
Lankhmar stories, Jack Vance's Dying Earth, Michael Moorcock's
Eternal Champion stories, Dan Abnett's Gaunt's Ghosts, The Horus
Heresy novels, Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher stories, Jim
Butcher's Dresden Files, Clive Barker's Books of Blood, Noidan
Käsikirja, Brian Lumley's Necroscope, etc. various, mostly in the
genres of fantastic or horrific. Also, comic books by Brian Michael
Bendis, Mark Millar, Grant Morrison, Geoff Johns, Robert Kirkman,
and others. Batman, Iron Man, The Avengers, The Walking Dead, Judge
Dredd, Nemesis the Warlock, JLA, JSA, so on and so forth.
Science Fiction, Horror, Fantasy, 80's action movies. Alien,
Aliens, Predator, The Crow, Starship Troopers, Lost Boys, The
Goonies, The Big Lebowski, The Gremlins. The original Star Wars
trilogy. Old, really bad movies. Arnold Schwarschenegger. Ivan
Reitman comedies. One could go on.
I watch a lot of TV-series. Currently I'm watching The Game of
Thrones, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Falling Skies,
and a few others. I like science fiction. I'm a fan of Star Trek:
The Original Series and all three Stargate series.
I like food (who doesn't). Especially spicy, ethnic food. Among my
favourites are Thai and Indian cuisine. I also like pepperoni
pizza, pasta, oh, and chicken. Definitely chicken. I like cooking,
although I'm no wizard at it. I don't really do recipes. I'd rather
experiment and learn by doing.
The six things I could never do without
A bed to sleep in, a computer, internet access, a phone, a roof
over my head, and my cats. Wait, that's actually seven. Cats
plural. Oh, nevermind.
