A lot of changes going on around here. I love to travel and explore, to try all sorts of new things and try and see as much stuff in the world as possible. I'm a bookish type and a bit of a geek when it comes to stuff like board games, astronomy, video games, anime, stuff like that. I have a passion for stuff that really does me no good sometimes! I don't know if that makes sense.

Then again I love going out and having a few drinks with friends. I've found you could just go into most bars and play board games just as easily as any where else, too. Fun times.

I spend a lot of time at work or school so when I do get time to entertain myself I like to try and do things with my friends, but my evenings I'm usually sitting reading a book or watching a movie. I have two cats (edging on crazy cat guy yea I know) that are total bros, even though one's a cranky old lady.

I always seem to have one project or another in trying to make myself a little better, practicing piano, taking online classes, reading a book or two that I honestly have no interest in (beyond it being a classic, or something like that).

Right now my life's super occupied with work, so that's where I am most of the day. I'll probably be here for another year or two before I move on to some other location and/or Grad School. I have total wanderlust. Ideally I'd end up at a school in New York, I've always wanted to live up there for awhile, at least.

Math, Cooking, Being incredibly frank if somebody has something important they want to talk about. I tend to be way too blunt sometimes.
I'm also pretty dang funny, I've heard.... No seriously I'm hilarious.

Seriously I get that way too much for some reason.

Book wise my favorite series would have to be Dune, and I've really enjoyed reading anything by Robin Hobb, so the Assasin's trilogy, the Fool trilogy, etc. I like anything by Robert Heinlein and I can say that Michael Crichton is always a fun read. (although I think his pseudo science is silly)
I've been reading the Wheel of Time series lately, and my friend has gotten me into Doctor Who as well. I really like the Reality shows on Discovery/The History Channel like Gold Rush and Sons of Guns. I really like 30 Rock and am a huge Tina Fey fan. Most of the other shows on TV are too far into the series to even tell what's going on, so I tend not to follow anything syndicated. I'll watch cartoons and stuff too if the mood hits me.
I like foreign films and tv as well. I actually enjoy watching old tokusatsu stuff from Japan, Kamen Rider, Godzilla, Super Sentai. Maturity is not high on my list of priorities when it comes to entertainment.

I'm always trying to come up with some big ploy that'll get me rich. Not that I end up in wacky sitcom-style schemes, but the likelihood is still there.

I'm a homebody so I usually stay at home either watching TV, reading, playing video games, or trying out a new recipe.
That or out for a drink with a friend or two. Then maybe LASER TAG HELL YEA.

Saturday night is board game night though, get a bunch of people to come play at a local Coffee Shop. Always a good time.

My first pet was a baby chicken and I ended up killing it by hugging it too hard. That probably scarred me for life or something.
