I grew up in Kansas City in the ghetto so I've got some flava but for the most part I'm just your typical Midwestern white girl... with a flair for the unusual.
I love horror movies, concerts, hanging out with my friends, being outside, swimming, basketball, going camping, walking, playing Guitar Hero, and watching medical anomaly shows on Discovery Health. Most of all I love music. It practically consumes my life. I'm ok with that.

I am a pescetarian (almost a vegetarian, but I eat dairy, eggs and fish).
My friends say I'm a hippie. I'll leave that judgment up to you.

As everyone says, that's only a little bit about me, it takes a long time to get to know someone so no matter how much I say here you'll only know a small portion of who I am.

I am a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and work at Sunrise Assisted Living of Leawood... I love my residents like they're my best friends/family. Sometimes the job is really stressful but it's worth the love I feel in the end.

I don't want to stay in the medical field, though. I'd like to venture into other areas but it's hard when the Economy is so scary.

Expressing myself when I feel it's necessary. Telling the truth. Being shy. Being a friend.

Sleeping, however, is what I do the very best.
Oh yeah, and I'm usually a good listener.

Books: My collection is massive, it ranges from Anne Rice to John Grisham and beyond. I love to read!

TV shows: Bones, The Big Bang Theory, American Idol, Law & Order: SVU, Scrubs, That 70s Show, Dr. G Medical Examiner, Mystery Diagnosis

Movies: Harold and Kumar, Short Bus, Across the Universe, Pineapple Express, the X-Men movies, Talladega Nights, The Never-ending Story, Almost Famous, Finding Nemo, RENT, Office Space, and Zoolander. I will watch pretty much anything within reason.

Music: Jason Mraz, The Alternate Routes, Gov't Mule, Susan Tedeschi, Hanson (yep), Pink, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Sublime, Green River Ordinance, Ben Folds, Paolo Nutini, Justin Nozuka, Savage Garden, Jimmy Eat World, and Sister Hazel. I could seriously go on for pages.

Music genres: rock, a little hip hop, celtic rock, jam bands, oldies (60s and 70s... I don't do that 80s well), pretty much everything from the mid-to-late 90s, a bit of country (dabbling on the pop side, can't help it I'm from the midwest!), piano rock, Blues Blues Blues and more Blues!

Food: I like just about anything so long as it doesn't involve bugs, "cute animal meat" or anything still breathing. Sushi and Mexican food are my favorite. Oh and cheese, I love cheese. It's kind of unnatural, the adoration I have for a dairy product.
