Any description of me tends to degenerate into a series of contridictions. I'm smart and logical, but I seek out mindless goofiness. I yearn to travel every chance I get, but always miss home. I'm a computer geek who snowboards but lives at the beach. I'm looking forward to a quiet, contented future punctuated by a never-ending series of adventures. I guess I'm just someone you just need to meet to understand.

I was fortunate to have made a bunch of money in my twenties. I then took a couple of years off and pissed most of it away on friends, travelling, and parties. I've been back working again on a new venture for the past couple of years hoping for another big payday: half to prove the first time wasn't a fluke; half to prove I can be smarter with my money the second time around.

My superpower is understanding complex things and systems like computers or how history and economics affect current affairs. It's a mixed blessing because I learn about things quickly, but lose interest as soon as I understand how something works.

I'm taller than the average bear.

I had braces for more than 7 1/2 years, and I really like the McRib.

My ideal match is a fun girl, a pistol who I can laugh with. She's quirky and funny and gets things in the same way that I do. She's looking for the life less ordinary and finds an adventure hard to resist, but she isn't an adrenaline junkie or high maintenance drama queen. She's happy with who she is and isn't looking for a relationship to validate her worth. She isn't at all perfect... except to me.
