My self-summary
Hi, I'm Laszlo!
Of the 7 billion humans alive on this planet, I am the 124th of my kind. I was born with half a heart and had a heart transplant at five weeks old. I'm 22 years post-transplant and doing pretty good compared to most of the transplant recipients I know.
I like helping others, petting dogs, traveling, and studying anthropology. I love humanity, I love everyone so much. I so deeply appreciate anyone who takes the time to share their existence with my life.
Outside the US, I've been to only 10 other countries so far. Only Europe, mostly central and eastern because of where my family comes from/still lives at, but I really hope to visit new continents soon. Few things are more important to me than travel.
What I’m doing with my life
Last year I had a change of heart and quit the film school at SCC after three years. Now working on a general AA instead, which I'll likely get at within the next semester, and then planning on transferring to NAU for further degrees in anthropology.

In my free time I make videos on my YouTube channel, star in other videos on my friend's channel, and recently we've decided to try making a weekly podcast.
I also frequent my local Denny's~
I’m really good at
Growing a beard, planning outfits, petting dogs, giving my friends rides, worrying about everything, making my friends laugh, having existential crises every week, and going to Denny's pretty much every night.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, A Happy Death, The Stranger, Existentialism is a Humanism, 20000 Leagues Under the Sea, Life of Pi, The Man in the High Castle, and cool anthropology textbooks. Philip K. Dick is my favorite author, and we even share the same birthday!
Recently I've been reading a lot of Albert Camus and Jean-Paul Sartre.
My favorite book in the 7th grade was an old zoology encyclopedia so there's that.

Movies: Blade Runner, The Artist, Her, Jodorowsky's Dune, Everything is Illuminated, Mr. Nobody, Under the Skin, The Descendants, Tetro, The Railway Man, The Truman Show, The Darjeeling Limited, The Royal Tenenbaums, Finding Vivian Maier, Little Miss Sunshine, Grand Budapest Hotel, Avengers, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and an endless amount of others!

TV Shows: Portlandia, The X-Files, It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia, Breaking Bad, Regular Show, Parks & Rec, Arrested Development, Bob's Burgers, and anything/everything on the travel channel. I grew up watching Samantha Brown and Anthony Bourdain.

Music: Gogol Bordello, Balkan Beat Box, Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes, Stromae, Arcade Fire (especially their soundtrack in 'Her' dang) Ennio Morricone, Caravan Palace, The Beatles, Annie Ford & Gregory Paul. Jazz, folk, electro-swing, anything~

Food: Denny's. Sushi. Any/all seafood. Pizza!
The six things I could never do without
1. Human interaction
2. Travel
3. Altruism
4. Meeting nice dogs
5. Love
6. Denny's
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Travel, extraterrestrials, dogs, death, death acceptance, cultural anthropology, Denny's, existential anguish, the well-being of my friends, more dogs, just how cool humans really are in every way.
On a typical Friday night I am
At Denny's. Or on tumblr. Or seeing a movie with friends if they aren't busy.
Sometimes I drive out in the desert in the middle of the night or climb a mountain just before sunrise. Sometimes I talk to the cacti or am greeted by an owl.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have General Anxiety Disorder so worrying is my greatest skill. I'm getting better at not letting my anxiety hold back my behaviors and decisions in life.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–32
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You like dogs!
If you've ever traveled anywhere!
You want to talk about spirituality or existentialism or extraterrestrials.
