My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a 22 year old student in mathematics. I'm generally a happy person who loves beauty of all forms, especially in sound! I also like to argue about things, both absurd and not, though the former is much more entertaining. So here's a fair warning. I LOVE arguing. I don't use harsh words, but if you want to get to know me, be prepared to argue from time to time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Appreciating the absurd comedy entitled "My Life". I try to get people to watch it but the only one apparently interested is me. And my mom. When she's not busy watching "her life".
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
A subset of all things.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Hamlet, Dostoyevsky, The Gift of Fear, self improvement, philosophy, The Case of Wagner, lots of pop psychology. And yes, I do know the Myers Briggs. But we shall not speak of that here.

Shows: there are others I like, but anime and documentaries.

Music: Classical (Mendelssohn, Prokofiev, Beethoven, Schubert), Progressive Metal, Soundtracks, Alternative Rock. Anything that is some combination of lyrical, musically interesting and pure greatness.

Food: Bread pudding, avocado, sushi, Cantonese food, Italian food, shepherd's pie, Sichuan food, crossing bridge rice noodles, Hungarian food
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My next fountain pen acquisition.
Names for my stuffed animals (for reference, there is Jon the shark, Caesar the golden eagle, etc.)
Math problems
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Listening to Beethoven's 9th Symphony one too many times. Reading some pretentious book I end up not finishing. Watching a weird movie. Making scratchy noises on my violin. Trying out new restaurants. Catching up on sleep. I don't know. It varies. Just not in the hottest parties or clubs, you can count on that (no, not even the ones that are less hot)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll admit that in private.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you're a compassionate man who enjoys in equal parts new adventures and philosophical discourse. If you appreciate the fine things in life such as music, art, books and good food. If you believe that learning and self improvement are lifelong endeavors. If you deign to take part in some of my girly pursuits, like social dancing. If you'd be down for something real.
