I won't write a book, but here's a bit about me:

I'm a relaxed guy who enjoys a good time in many different ways. A bike ride, a hike, cooking something I haven't tried before, going to the bar for a nice local brew, or a coffee shop for a great americano. All this can all be made better with a friend of course.

I'm in no rush for a relationship, and think I'd be just as likely to make a friend as a sweetheart. I believe love is friendship on fire.

I work at an outdoor retailer as the head of marketing, but could be doing anything at work from building a bicycle, doing a professional fitting, or re-mapping the floor layout. I like the variety.

I have two passions in life: Bicycles and fine tastes on the tongue.

Cycling is my prime sport year-round here in Maine, and this past winter I even did a metric century during an 18" snow storm! Charity rides are also a common part of my life, like the Trek Across Maine

Interpreting arts of taste are my other skill and pursuit. I review any drink people can choose solely for enjoyment of taste on my blog. This includes anything from herbal teas to hard liquors and everything in-between.

Relaxed in conversation but can be deep in it.

Some of my favorite forms of entertainment are; The Hobbit (book), Alien (movie), Selected Shorts (NPR radio show), The Eagles, Dropkick Murphys, and George Winston (music).

As for the taste of foods, real Italian cuisine is hard to beat. I love nice cheeses too! (Especially when matched with the right wine).

1. Friends - Life wouldn't be fulfilled without them.
4. Fine Teas and Coffee - A day started with an Ethiopian bean, and ended with a Rooibos tea, is never bad.
5. Craft Breweries - Portland's a metro of them.
2. Bicycles - Each one of my bicycles has a name.
3. Music - Do I need to say why? Imagine life without it.
6. That Aura - When you're among art, beautiful nature, caught in music, a great cabernet's taste, ...

What if...? It's like pulling something apart and re-building it. I use this approach with writing a lot.

A kickback night can be anything from tea and a book, to beer and a BBC audio show.

A night of fun can be a night bike ride, having a few in the Old Port, or a game night at someone's place. All with friends.
