PROFILE PICTURES
• I hate when people refuse to show their face in pictures. You may as well not have a picture up.
I also hate when people obscure their face by cropping, using high contrast, and/or using a very Myspace-y angle to appear differently than they do in real life. I don't know about them, but I appreciate honesty; therefore, everyone who looks at my profile will get a full-frontal shot of my face and body. If someone's going to be disappointed with how I look, it may as well be now than later.
PROFILES
• In the intro section, what is the point of saying, "Well i hate fillin these things out.."
Well then, why do you have a profile to begin with, my friend..? Stop pretending you're too cool to have a profile when you already have one and delete it already.
• "Please be aware that I'm a bitch, and I will tell you this beforehand in the hopes of earning your respect and/or keeping those who insult my intelligence at bay".
You know, I understand the motive(s), but openly stating that you're a bitch/asshole doesn't make you any more appealing, open-minded, or clever as the people you hope to deflect. Plus, it makes you look like a snob. Some people might tell you to get over yourself.
• "I'm totally random/I love random things".
This is usually said by a person under 20, or a little older. I doubt you're "random" in the sense of "spontaneous and original"; you're most likely impulsive and immature. Those who claim to be "random" or love "random things" are still in the adolescent stage of believing yourself to be more unique and original than any human being on the planet.
Oh, how I love maturity.
PERSONALITY AWARDS
• When I read the similar users box on my profile, I read "hornier..kinkier..kinkier..kinkier". I GET IT. I'm NOT as kinky as the majority. In fact, I'm a bit of a noob; maybe a bit old-fashioned in that area. I'm sorry, OKCupid.
It's really an issue between me and the website, no one else.
OTHER THAN THESE THINGS...
I've become an OKCupid "addict". I check this place more than Facebook or Myspace. So for the most part, I am satisfied.
