My Self-Summary

My name is Michael, I am a full time student at Devry University. I like science fiction, I occasionally play dungeons and dragons with my friends, I like to play videogames, and occasionally I do prank edits with photoshop. My aspirations are that I want to work with computers and eventually I would like to work with art as well. You can proabably tell by now that I am a bit of a nerd but I am an individual that has a lot of tastes and is open to new things so I consider myself an individual more then anything. And once I open myself up to someone I usually end up making a friend for life. And when I make a friend for life I offer loyalty, compassion, and I help out whenever I can like a good friends do.

What I’m doing with my life

Currently I am a student at DeVry University studying Computer Information Systems. I have about a year and a half left and when I get out I will go into web development. In the future I also want to study art, media, and game development if I get the chance.

I’m really good at

Learning new things in general, in high school I was in the top 20% and in college I'm on the dean's list. Also, I am a bit of a gamer and do really well against my friends on shooters and fighting games. Also, when I get some inspiration I make avatars and goofy photo edits of my best friends. I use photoshop CS3 for that. I am also told by those closest to me that I am a really good friend, and I usually go out of my way for those who are closest to me.

The first things people usually notice about me

People usually notice that I am a bit timid and shy, but also find that they can easily trust me even though I am mere aquantance. So I guess they also see part of my good nature and find it easy to confide and communicate to me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorite books were the The Lord Of The Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien. It was a very entertaining series of novels and there was so much more going on in the story then what they put in the movies.

My favorite movies are the Fith Element, Michael Clayton, Hot Fuzz, Monty Python and The Holy Grail, and the Ghost in The Shell S.A.C. movie (animated). Its a very odd list I know, I have very diverse tastes when it comes to entertainment.

My favorite music I guess is more of a sub genra of other forms of music. I like classic videogames and there is a certain style to the kind of tune that is in those games. If a remix of is good I'll find myself listening to it, I know that there are some very unique remixes out there.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My friends, a good most of them have gone into the armed forces and I am really close to them so it is natural that I miss them and hold them in my thoughts.

Either I am just casually enjoying a peaceful evening at home watching a movie, playing videogames, school work, or working on a artsy project. Or, I am with my friends hanging out and trying new things out and making attempts to 'get out of my shell' as they say.
