My Self-Summary
Not much to say, truth to tell. I moved to Houston almost two years
ago with a boy and a baby (my husband and my son). I'm originally
from Indiana and I still think of it as my home, even though I'm
very glad we moved. I love fun things like anime, warm days, or cold days with
snowball fights, candy, and long conversations about almost
anything. I love board games, card games, RPGs, and puzzles of all kinds. I enjoy the
company of men, but don't misunderstand. It's just that I can
usually see eye to eye with most guys, also I suck at hanging out
with chicks. I'm usually thinking about boobs or that I'd rather be
wathing Aussie Rules Football. I
can at times have a dirty mind and a dirty mouth which does make
conversing with guys easier. Other than that I'm just a normal
twenty-something woman with plans of global domination.
What I’m doing with my life
I work nights at one of the worst hotels in the world (at least as
far as the hotel chain is concerned). I spend my days with my son,
playing, watching cartoons and sleeping (but less with the
sleeping). Other than that, just strivin' and survivin'.
I’m really good at
Confusing people, starting strange conversations that come to even
stranger conclusions, and quips.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm loud. I don't even know that I'm being loud most of the time.
So more than likely you'll hear my voice before you ever see my
face. I hear "you don't sound like you're from 'round here" a lot
from people, so people notice the way I talk.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
(a) The Visiting Professor, Savage Art, Smoke and Mirrors(and
almost anything else by Neil Gaiman), Everthing's Eventual,
The Dead Zone, the Dune saga, and Naked.
(b)the Sci Fi versions of Dune and Children of Dune; Frida and almost anything with Selma Hayek and/or Antnio Banderas, Four Rooms, Sin City, most Treintino films, the original Psycho, South by Southwest, Sabrina (both old and new), and way too may other things to mention (I love movies).
(c)I like rock, metal, and ska. I like any type of music as long as it is good.
(d)I like Cantonese, Japanese and Thai foods, as well as standard burgers, fries and pizza.
The six things I could never do without
music, poetry, candy, drama (fictional), Cisco(my love), and candy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
candy, my son, and my family, and candy, and contemporary issues
effecting the world's economies, but mostly candy
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm usually working Friday nights and laughing on the inside at the
people who think they've got it together rollin' into a hotel at
three in the morning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I respected the Spice Girls for manipulating prepubecent girls into
believing in themselves while wearing halters, mini skirts, and
platform shoes and getting their parents to sign off on it. I also
liked the songs, they were upbeat and good to dance to when I
needed to drown out the world and make myself so tired I couldn't
remember what I was upset about. Oh, I also love porn, especially
hentai.
