My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
( I want to say something not attached to my profile written months ago). I want to honor here all of those that suffered from the tragedy of the Boston Bombings. I am proud to say that I lived in the city limits of Boston for almost 34 years before moving to CA 8 years ago. Boston strong!!!!!! Now for my profile).

I am a compassionate, open, caring, attractive, fun and entertaining woman to spend time with according to my friends..... and I love to laugh. I can also say I'm accepting of our world's differences and find life fascinating. If I catch myself being negative, which doesn't happen often, I look around at the beauty of nature which for me is life's tranquilizer. Volunteering is a part of my life and fills me with satisfaction. I think it's important to give back. I love animals so it's a plus if you feel somewhat that way as well. I have one dog and she could use a new furry friend.

Most of the time I can be found listening to music, reading a good book and walking my sweet dog (I love to walk). I simply adore movies, a wonderful meal in a good restaurant and I am a relatively healthy eater. Going for rides, travel, deep conversations, concerts, plays and listening to most genres of music. Its hard to think of a genre I don't like because music for me is about how I am feeling at that time. I can be tender but funny, serious but fun to be with, love conversation about many things as well as enjoying the peace of being quiet together.

What do I want in a partner... hummmmm. Connection and chemistry are hard to define because when love finds you it is just unmistakably there. So spark is important, shared interests, shared sense of purpose, and especially a comfortable ease of being together. Confidence is attractive, a man who knows who he is, is generous, present for the relationship, wants to know me and of course I will give the same in return. Its about having fun together and sharing our lives as well as being able to maintain the parts of our lives that are separate from the relationship. Its all about balance.

I am keeping my heart open for that special man to share my life and interests. It all comes down to unraveling the mystery.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying the moment.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at being me. Nobody does it better.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People say I "stand out" , am attractive, and don't look my age even though it is who a person is that matters. Also, since I have moved back to Santa Barbara, the weather has sweetened me. That combined with what I carry from living on the east coast, is a nice mix.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
music: I love most genres of music depending on my mood, but classic rock/southern rock is my favorite if I had to choose. I love jazz, blues and new age music and the list goes on and on and on and on.....I need music in my life daily.
food: I love good home cooked meals with healthy ingredients and restaurants that do the same. I am adventurous when it comes to food and a bit of a snob about it. I personally don't eat red meat because of what it does to the environment and I love cows.
Books: I alternate between "New Age" books and a good, juicy New York Times or National Best Seller novel, and lately non-fiction is more what I look for, with subjects like horses and environmental issues. I love browsing through book stores both new and used.
shows: I love live theater and Broadway Plays, so lets fly to NY
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
-Friends and Family
-My dog and volunteering
-Being near the ocean and nature (even if its Central Park)
-I love restaurants, a good meal
-My spiritual practice and peace of mind
-Must visit Boston and Cape Cod often
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time lately thinking about "you"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It depends..................
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
