Personality: I don't ever offend people, I am never rude, I would only lash out in defense or to protect someone I love. I'm an affectionate, easygoing person. I try to help others any way I can. I love to dance, I love to listen to music, I love meaningful lyrics and inspiring quotes, I love the idea of a deep, unconditional, mutual love (but not looking for it right now). I love laughing. I don't think there is ever a reason to say or do hurtful things to anyone you love. I hardly ever get angry, and when I do, I discuss it, so I can understand.
Things that I believe have molded me into who I am today:
- Culture (in case the language indication and my screen name were vague, I am Russian/Ukrainian)
- Displacement to the US at a critical age
- My family values
- Traveling through parts of Europe, backpacking style
- Learning to ride a motorcycle, there's really nothing that compares to being that vulnerable on the road, and yet so incredibly powerful at the same time (had a Yamaha R6, and planning to buy a Triumph Street Triple - hopefully sooner rather than later)
Sports: dancing, soccer, swimming, high-jumping, pole-vaulting, sprinting, rugby, indoor rock-climbing, hiking, biking, snowboarding, skiing (although I prefer snowboarding), backpacking, roller-blading, I was into parkour back in college, and I'd love to get into water sports more.
What I love: My family, my cat, rain, chocolate, dancing, music, kissing, philosophy, Greek mythology, campfires, reading, books, vinyl records, cognac, theoretical discussions (check out "what if" series of books), acoustic music, art, outdoors, that smell that fills the air when you know snow is coming, meaningful conversations, Dolce Gabbana "Light Blue" cologne, the feeling you get when you haven't slept for over 24 hours, you've been busy all this time (mentally and physically) and you finally reach your bed - close to heaven I'd say.
There's this Russian song, title translation: "Love will save the world." - I recommend you watch it, if only for the fact that she's beautiful, but the point is, I live by this phrase, so this is my jam :-).
I should also probably mention, I randomly break into song (possibly accompanied by a dance) several times a day.
