My favorite book is Heart of Darkness. However my favorite author
is currently Greg Stolze, preceded by Neil Gaiman, H.P. Lovecraft
and Isaac Asimov. The list of books I'm fond of is much too long to
list, but if your interested in that, please ask.
My favorite movie would probably be Inception, followed closely by
Apocalypse Now, Fight Club, District Nine and The Rocky Horror
Picture Show. Though I think Rocky Horror, and most cult movies,
are best seen with a good bunch of friends.
I don't watch much television, but there are a number of shows I
make an effort to watch relatively frequently. Among those are
Archer, Workaholics, Arrested Development, The IT Crowd, Frisky
Dingo, Jon Benjamin Has a Van.
Music is very important to me, and I usually try to have something
playing in the background no matter what I'm doing. I usually have
trouble sticking with a 'favorite' band, but for the last couple
years or so Clutch has been my undisputed favorite, though lately
Dengue Fever has been a close second. That said I also enjoy a wide
variety of music with a clear disregard for genre labels. I've
lately been listening to a mix of Less Than Jake, DJ Champion,
Graveyard, RJD2, Soul Position, The Avalanches, Simon &
Garfunkel, Reel Big Fish, Rage Against The Machine, Modest Mouse,
MGMT, Lemon Jelly, The Heavy, Gorillaz, Gogol Bordello, Electric
Six, The Doors, System of a Down, Bitter:Sweet, Arctic Monkeys, The
White Stripes and The Black Keys.
I also play a fair number of videogames in my downtime. I just
recently finished The Last of Us, which was truly an amazing
experience. Some of my favorite games include Dark Souls, Tomb
Raider (Reboot), Deus Ex: HR, Dishonored, and TLoU.
I wouldn't say I have a favorite food per se, but do have a general
preference for spicy dishes, particularly curries accompanied by a
good cider or Unibroue.
