My self-summary
While I may be a pretty mellow person on the surface, I tend to get very passionate about something if my interest is piqued. I'm also very analytical and curious at heart. I love intense intellectual discussions, especially about our social human condition, and philosophy as well.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a film director/cinematographer. I also paint/draw on the side. I'm attending a city college to get my general ed out of the way, and then I'm transferring to a 4-year. Probably Cal State Long Beach. I also work, but yeah that's about it.
I’m really good at
Finding out what I need to know, (hopefully) art and film :0 , keeping eye contact while having a conversation, not caring much about what people think...ermmm cruising Reddit?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm not going to list every flomping movie/book I like, but I'll put the gyst. For books I like psychological thrillers, social commentaries, philosophy, diary-formatted narratives, *anything else I'll remember later and forget to add.
For movies I like surreal, dark and wacky, psychological thrillers, slapstick, dark dark humor, etc.
As far as directors go; David Lynch, Wes Anderson, Terry Gilliam to name a few. I have many more, but I don't feel like listing them all, just ask me and we can talk about it. I am in love with this British comedy called Black Books. Anyone who knows of that show is awesome, Sherlock too. And IT Crowd, and Spaced.
Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Portlandia.... umm many more I'm sure, that's all that is coming to mind at the moment though.

But holy shit how could I have forgotten? Oingo Boingo is my all time favorite band. I think Danny Elfman is a musical genius. Yay Oingo Boingo. Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Who, The Clash, Beatles, The Turtles, Janice Joplin, The Cure, Weird Al, some modern stuff (Band of Horses, Mumford, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse). Flapjack is also one of my favorite cartoons ever created. It's dark, wacky, beautifully animated, original, and hilarious.

I also play games; yes I am a console player (PS3) to all the elite master race PC players ;)

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about life, our vastly monstrous/beautiful universe, film, our social condition, nature vs nurture when it comes to "good" and "evil", the dynamics and mechanics of life after death, body language, art, good coffee...umm and obviously many more things
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, having adventures, relaxing at home, trying to teach myself HTML/hacky things as well as Swedish and German (none of which are working....but I haven't really tried), filming, going out for a coffee...
But usually if no plans I lurk on Reddit
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was 12 I wanted to marry Dr. House
