me ...? umm let's see ... i'm an artist, and i suppose, i am also, by definition, a geek~ i love star wars, and i love lord of the rings (the books come first, i first read them when i was 14-15 or so); i collect comic books, watch movies, read books (big neil gaiman fan), play video games, and i love jazz~

generally pretty laid back, but occasionally do love a spot of adventure. friends mostly think i'm crazy and/or silly, but hey, i say live life, enjoy the little moments; why let life drag you around instead? ;)

i'm trying to figure this one out too to be honest.

i'm a freelance artist, doing both commercial work, as well as taking commissions. i also lecture part time in a local art college.

all while trying to figure out where to go next~

drawing and painting. it has been pretty much what my entire life is based upon. and video games!

also good to note that i'd probably be fairly decent in a star wars or marvel comics trivia =D

god only knows what people notice about me.

i suppose it depends on the situation in which they meet me. it could vary from crazy, to kind and helpful, and at work perhaps resourceful, strong willed.

in general though, after a few minutes of conversation, people might just think i have more than a few screws loose (or to word it a bit better; think outside of the box ... really ... far ... outside the box). but in my defense, i wouldn't be much of an artist if i didnt =D

my favourite books would be ... american gods by neil gaiman, lord of the rings by j.r.r. tolkien, and tuesdays with morrie by mitch albom. if this includes comic books, pretty much anything written by frank miller, alan moore, and neil gaiman (huge gaiman fan!)

favourite movie of all time ... star wars (the original trilogy), a few good men (tom cruise, jack nicholson), and close behind is training day (denzel washington) and 13th warrior (antonio banderas). on a side note, unbeknownst to most, i'm actually a huge toshiro mifune fan, although often mistaken by many for a love of kurosawa films.

tv shows ... the shield has been my favourite all time tv series. sopranos before it went bad. seinfeld, arrested development. the recently concluded 30rock, and still following how i met your mother.

i love jazz~ specifically ... cool jazz, smooth jazz, bossanova~ and oldies! i grew up with my mom listening to oldies ... and i suppose that kinda stuck~ those tunes from yesteryears are really pretty evergreen.

and finally ... food! if there's one food i probably cant live without ... it'd be nasi lemak! and a close seconddddd ... cheeezzzzburgerrrrrsss! and pizzas! *note* i think i'm generally just an omnomnomnivore~

my wacom tablet (i primarily work on the digital medium), my pc/laptop (well i'll need that if i want to use the tablet somewhere).

family, friends, and well, in the event i do find someone, that particular someone i'll spend the rest of my life with~

hmm that makes 5 ... and maybe cheeseburgers too ... coz ... darnit a good cheeseburger takes away part of the problems in life! XD

love and life. where everything began, where it might end, and everything else in between ... all of which usually results in me writing journal-esque stories, or poetry, and slapping it somewhere online ... or painting.

not to mention fantasizing about going on adventures, or having superpowers, or one day conquering the world with an army of hamsters~

at this day and age, where most of my close friends are now in relationships, or married, or moved and scattered across the globe ... truth be told not much. it just isnt as fun trying to live life alone.

thus ... i mostly sit home and read, watch a movie, play video games, paint ... or daydream =D

as a guy, i'm quite connected to my emotions. and that being said, i do cry while watching movies (well not during terminator or expendables or the likes of course). probably a by-product of being an artist and having to let emotions fuel passion.

truth be told, not much to be said. i dont particularly hide much about anything. if people ask me the right questions, they'll get an answer =)
