Update

Sorry I haven't been on in so long. I was all prepared to have the bandages removed but ran into a slight snag. My cousin and I were in a car accident resulting in a near complete reversal of the operation. I have been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks and have not really felt like getting online until just now. While in the hospital I received a second operation on my eyes. So now I won't be able to take the bandages of until September 5th. Thank you again for your support and heres to hoping it worked.

Surgery Complete

For the last two years I've been dealing with a blindness that got me a medical (later changed to an honorable) discharge from the U.S. Navy. I've been seen by Doctors across the country and finally found one that was willing to try an operation to reconnect the optic nerve. After months of paperwork and so called "dress rehersals, I finally went under the knife (so to speak) last week. The doc says everything looks good and that his hopes are high. I'm still not sure if the operation was successful or not. The bandages come of this Friday and I'm extremely nervous.
