I'm a native born New Yorker, and I absolutely love it here. I just
made a switch from law/finance into the art world and I am so
excited about it! It's something I've been wanting to do for a long
I love traveling and have been to some pretty exotic deatinations
(eg. Easter Island, Tibet, Bhutan and Namibia). But, put me on a
beach anywhere, and I'm happy as can be. I love dining
out---anything from diners to four star reataurants. I am a total
carnivore, and I dont think I could be long term with a vegetarian.
I also enjoy wine or cocktails with dinner and going out with
friends for drinks, and I'd like a guy who enjoys doing that as
My other likes are pretty much the same ones most guys in NYC have:
movies, museums, the gym etc. I do like television and watch a
range of shows--some of which I probably shouldn't admit to (think
Bravo!). I like to joke around a lot, and laugh at my own jokes
even if no one else does--though, they usually do! All in all, I'm
a nice, smart, thoughtful guy who likes to laugh and have fun, and
I'm looking for the same qualities in a boyfriend.
What I’m doing with my life
Just switched from law/finance into the art world. I am thrilled!
I’m really good at
Planning trips, learning languages, witty banter, listening and
giving good advice.
The first things people usually notice about me
People usually comment on my smile and my eyes. That, plus I joke
around a lot of the time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Is this where I am supposed to say I reread Dostoevsky and Balzac
before I go to sleep at night? Truth be told, most of my reading is
on vacation, and I usually end up with a spy thriller or recent
biography. I love all kinds of movies, except horror. Have a soft
spot for romantic comedies like "the Proposal" (or maybe I just
like seeing Ryan Reynolds half-naked!).
I zoomed through Seasons 1 and 2 of Homeland in a week. I'm
addicted! I also really like House Hunters International, the
Sunday Morning political shows, Grey's Anatomy, Project Runway, and
some reality tv more than I should admit!
Favorite foods are Italian, French, Chinese, and Steak. I'm not a
big sushi guy, but there's enough I eat that it doesn't prevent me
from going to Japanese when I'm with someone who likes it.
The six things I could never do without
4) air conditioning
6) delivery menus
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next vacation, my next meal, an excuse to get out of going to
the gym (rarely works), how I can get Ryan Reynold's phone number.
On a typical Friday night I am
Going to drinks or dinner with friends, or on a date.
Alternatively, relaxing from the week and catching up on my DVR.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Yup, that was me you saw on an episode of Real Housewives of New
You should message me if
If you're smart, handsome, genuinely nice, and will laugh at my
jokes after a few cocktails
