My Self-Summary
I hate these kinds of things, but here goes:
I'm creative and crafty (as in making things, not like the chick in the Beastie Boys song). My tastes in music/movies/books are eclectic. I sing. All the time. Even if it's not really good. I just like it. I can speak two languages besides English. Espanol y 日本語. Well ok..I studied for a few years and can understand them decently. Although I don't drink all that often, I do enjoy a good beer, but please, make it good. Coors light lovers need not apply. I've written a novel that needs editing, and I'm currently working on another.
I'm a bigger girl. I know it and won't deny it. Do I like it? Eh, not especially. Do I try to change it? Yes. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't, but I know I'm a good person and if the outside appearance doesn't do it for you, then that's fine, but if you take the time to get to know the person inside, you might be pleasantly surprised.

What I’m doing with my life
I just finished getting certified to teach elementary - general and
special ed. I'm working as a substitute teacher while looking for a
permanent position. I write, craft, sew and am a budding
photographer. My camera goes everywhere with me. If you're

I’m really good at
Hmm really good? I'm a fabulous listener. I should have been a
shrink. Even strangers come to me with their problems. It's cool
though. If I can help just by hearing someone out, it's worth
it.

The first things people usually notice about me
The glasses. I guess they're very naughty school librarian-ish. I
dig them. I have dimples too, but you have to make me laugh to see
them.

The six things I could never do without
-Computer with internet connection. I'm addicted. I admit it.
-Music. Life without music would be bland, colorless, boring, etc.
-My glasses. I'd be pretty damn close to blind without them.
-Family and friends. They're my rock and get me through the hard
times. -Money. Yes. It's dirty but it's a necessity and I need
more. Such is life, ne? -A car. I hate traffic, but I love the
freedom to just get up and go somewhere.

My future. Money woes. What's the best way to go about turning the
ideas in my head into reality.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lately? I'm a homebody. Money's been tight so I'm normally home
with a DVD, some beer or a bottle of wine, sitting on the couch and
crocheting or making something while watching.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
People tell me I'm strong, but really I think I'm just better at
hiding when I'm hurt.
