I am funny, clever, and friendly.
My Self-Summary
I enjoy the simple things in life, the outdoors, good
food, meaningful
conversation. I spend
alot of time
reading, to the detriment of my social
life unfortunately.
Cheese or anything containing cheese can
be listed among my general interests, and although I'm one of the
least picky eaters you'll ever meet, I have a profound appreciation
for great food. One of my life goals is to write a book, most
likely an autobiography. I would love to end up as a teacher in the
not so distant future, I love kids and they seem to like me once
they get over the height difference. If I can't teach for some
reason I'd like to work as a therapist. I like to think of myself
as very accepting of all people, regardless of their shortcomings.
I can be fiercely independent, but I generally prefer to rely on
others, since it reminds me I'm not alone in this crazy journey we
call life.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to get it back on track. I was once a business man, had my
own office, wore a suit and tie to work each day, but something
wasn't right about it. When my dad got sick I quit that job and
moved from Chicago back to New Mexico. I just moved to Minnesota to
get right and start fresh (long story, ask me sometime). Now I'm an
restaurant manager and have a hard time finding hours in the day
for being social...
I’m really good at
Making new friends, listening, driving, remembering trivial crap,
managing my staff (more like day care).
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a big guy. Not too fat or anything but I have a few extra
pounds on me and I'm tall. I like to laugh and make other people
laugh.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
A) Sometimes a Great Notion by Ken Kesey and Midnight's Children by
Salman Rushdie, right now I'm obsessed with Vince Flynn's books
(political spy thriller stuff) B) Vietnam movies, Boondock Saints,
The Usual Suspects, Shawshank Redemtion, Dazed and Confused, Annie
Hall, Pineapple Express, What the bleep do we know. C) Hip-hop,
Reggae, classic rock, punk/emo D) Sushi, good mexican food, almost
anything with cheese
The six things I could never do without
My friends, my family, my car, my memories, the Chicago Bears/Cubs,
my sanity
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The sad state of affairs in this world. Where my soulmate is
hiding.
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing golf, hitting up a comedy club or movie, or just enjoying
good company.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I've been waiting for the right girl to settle down and start a
family with since I was about 15. Still lookin.
You should message me if
You have any interest at all in what I've said. It's always tough
to give a good description of yourself on these things, there is
quite a bit more to me than whats written here.
