Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a warm, grounded, funny (to most, not everyone), caring,
fairly intuitive person who takes a deep interest in the needs and
thoughts of my friends and family.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a very good life and a wonderful adult daughter who lives in
the city and with whom I have a re-blossoming relationship. I work
hard as a financial advisor and am looking to find a the right
person to be my partner and share all the good things the life has
I made a New Year's Resolution this year that I actually kept -- to
get out of my comfort zone and try something totally new and
different. The result: I decided to try my hand at comedy writing
and took an 8-week course at Second City, me and a bunch of
Twentysomethings. I liked it so much, I took another, then four
more. The result is we wrote a comedy revue that will run 4 Fridays
in January. Jokes, sketches, music, nudity (not). It's amazing how

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Understanding other people's needs and problems. Writing,
communicating. Loyalty. People trust me ... and with good reason.
People tell me I'm comfortable to be with, and that's what I look
for in a partner. I'm a very good, try-anything cook. But I haven't
had a foodie to cook for in a while. Also the NYT crossword puzzle,
which I do every day. Trying the guitar.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have no idea. You tell me when we meet.

Anything by Michael Chabon and Robert Littell. 11/22/63 by Stephen
King (my first King novel). I like the Bourne movies, but not so
much the non-Matt-Damon one. I saw most of the Oscar Nominees this
year and particularly liked Argo and Amour. Old movies: anything
from Bogart post 1940. I love Indian and MidEastern food. Also
Mexican/South American. Also French, but I have to admit to a
weakkness for smokehouse BBQ.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Travel, friends, daughter. Have to think some more on this one.
