I am outgoing, helpful, and rational.
My Self-Summary
Some of my interests: Rockin' the
drums and ruining my hearing with loud
music, exercising, going for walks, adventures, good drinks,
painting, trying to cook, trying to dance, my job, having fun with
fun people.
I'm a pretty simple, humble guy; Drama free, yet always on the hunt
for new experiences. I can appreciate the simple things in life. I
also love watching people try to parallel park!
What I’m doing with my life
I grew up in a
small town between
Illinois and
Wisconsin. I had the itch to
travel for college. Got my undergrad out of the way (best time
ever!). I have a BA in
Psychology from
The University of
Tampa. Though it would be exciting to move to California after.
Right now, I'm just trading time for experience in my career with
the Dept of Defense in HR until I find something else to
accomplish. Otherwise, weekends are always a blast.
I’m really good at
... I wouldn't say that I'm "really good" at anything... There's
always room for improvement, though overall I'd like to think I'm
well-rounded and do well at whatever I decide to put my mind to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm very social but also very content with peace and quiet. I can
be a lot of fun, but also can be a professional. I'd like to think
I'm a good listener and care a lot about my friends and family. I'm
not afraid to make mistakes but would never intentionally.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I don't read for pleasure all that often, but when I do I enjoy it.
Strangely, I prefer to be learning something when I'm
reading.
I love watching movies. Not a big fan of movies that scare the
beans out of me. -I literally will jump out of my seat!
I love music --listening, making, watching. I'm a bit of a band
geek. I played trombone throughout HS and college in the wind
ensemble, pep-band, and jazz band. Also played the drums and other
hand percussion. Currently, I'm trying to learn bass.
Food's great! I love going out to eat and also trying to create
stuff in my kitchen. I can make a mean chocolate chip cheesecake
and quiche!
The six things I could never do without
God, music, working, friends, internet, weekends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how to improve my surroundings/self. Then try to figure out how to
actually do it.
On a typical Friday night I am
doing one of several things... Could be watching UFC, out playing
darts or pool, at a bar with friends, out to dinner, or maybe we
can complement that by finding someone on here to enjoy time with.
:)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I had bright red curly ringlets on my head as a toddler.
or ...
There was this Subaru Outback commercial not too long ago and I
really liked the song playing in the background. I searched for an
hour to find the composer. Anyway, the guy's name is
Philip Glass. I
spent most of the next weekend listening to every song I could find
by him. AMAZING! Highly recommended.

you're not afraid to take chances and meet new people.
