I am bubbly, cerebral, and extroverted.
My Self-Summary
I'm intelligent, easy-going, silly, thoughtful, honest and
fun-loving. I'm originally from Miami and have lived in several
cities, but have adopted Philadelphia as my home. I have a number
of interests which include but are not limited to: the
Phillies,
travel (I've been to several
countries over the past 5 years),
rock music,
Wii,
The Roots, shopping,
art, crappy tv shows, and hanging out
w/friends at great bars.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a great job which allows me to have a very flexible
schedule. It combines my interests in travel and meeting people,
which is pretty damned sweet. In this day & age, its nice to
have a gig that I actually enjoy.
I’m really good at
getting along with people and keeping a positive attitude in most
situations. I'm also pretty insightful, if I do say so myself. Oh
and singing
karaoke. *LOL*
The first things people usually notice about me
Generally its my hair. Its not like you could miss it. I also get a
lot of comments about my "distinctive" laugh.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I'm a fan of
Hemingway although I HATED reading The
Old Man & the Sea (either catch the damned fish or die!). Read
Cat's Cradle &
1984 last summer...loved both.
A couple of favorite movies are:
Anchorman,
Forrest Gump,
The Wedding Singer,
Contact, A League
of their Own and all of the
X-Men,
Lord of the Rings and
Harry Potter
movies.
I love food! My job involves dining out a LOT during the year which
is perfect for me. I don't think there is any type of cuisine I
don't enjoy, but some favorites are
sushi,
Indian,
Vietnamese, southern food and hot
dogs! *lol* I also adore great
wine and
beer. P.S. Come winter I can down a good
Tullamore
Dew with the best of them ;-)
The six things I could never do without
- Supportive friends & family
- Music
- My DVR
- Good conditioner (my hair doesn't moisturize itself, ya
know)
- Yummy food
- Laughter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my social life, the future (whether its the weekend ahead or where
I'd like to be 5 years from now), my next vacation, books I'm
reading, music, men...
On a typical Friday night I am
with friends at a party or a favorite bar. Usually we're just
enjoying a band or catching up with one another.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Because I've been asked, I want to make it clear that being a
Buddhist doesn't mean I worship Buddha. *lol* Its more of a
spiritual thing than a traditional "religion" since we don't have
the rules or monks or priests or anything like that. I would be
more than happy to explain if we met.
You should message me if
you're open to the idea of a relationship if we're compatible and
you put the Awww in Awesome. Yes, that was corny and I don't give a
shit ;-)
