I am an open-minded child of the Age of Aquarius, and I'm looking for people to share with. I'm looking to expand my circle of friends. I learn so much from people who have been raised in different circumstances than me; I love to bring together the best of people and celebrate that, rather than trying to change others to be like me. I would welcome the opportunity to develop a friendship into a long-term companion and/or lover relationship.

I'm working full time in an educational setting, currently as a trainer.

I sing and provide leadership in a community chorale, which provides a social/musical outlet for me.

I design and make jewelry and mosaics.

I get out to the forest, mountains, ocean, or lake as often as I can.

I'm considering entering a Masters program, but I'm not too happy about the time that would be taken from the other things I love to do.

Writing and editing English. I've done mostly business and technical writing and am currently trying to learn to be an unself-conscious creative writer.

I took French in elementary school and Spanish in college. I grew up with some Estonian (hanging out with my best friend's Estonian mother). I can read Navajo, but I don't necessarily know what I'm saying. One of my favorite sayings is: "C'est la vie en la big ciudad."

Years ago when I was a typesetter, I stopped reading books for pleasure; now I read to learn things.

I love Indie movies. My favorite movie of late was "Atonement," particularly because of the way music was used to carry the transitions and the overall story.

I am a musician, and I am open to all sorts of music; I especially enjoy the blues, jazz, and classical; although I love to get down to good ol' rock-n-roll.

I love food, and I like to explore a variety of cuisines. Some of my favorites are: Indian, Thai, German, Serbian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, and of course anything made from potatoes.

Music, dogs, laughter, artistic outlets, chocolate, Mother Nature.

Philosophy. How to get a committed musical group together without having to do all the administrative work myself. How people can insist that their way of thinking (i.e., Religion) is the only way. I wish someone would come in and clean my house.

Either spending time with a good friend, or spending the evening at home with my pooch.
