I'm simultaneously laid back and overly enthusiastic. I grew up in Seattle, moved to New York for film school, and stayed to start a production company.

I love going places, exploring the city and the bits of New York you can't get to by train, and generally having adventures. I assume the best of people. I like sailing and hiking and outdoorsy stuff. I love cooking with people. I like snow a little too much. I love music. I play guitar and mandolin and like to compose. I do a lot of visual effects and could talk to you for hours about particle systems and 3D camera tracking. I'm a nerd about old camera lenses, tea, whiskey, wine, and movies.

I love being around people, and I probably want to meet you.

I'm making my living as a freelance commercial director and editor. Eventually I hope to write and direct features and TV shows. Grateful to be making a living doing what I love.

When I'm not doing that, I'm writing music, watching movies, reading, cooking, making cocktails, biking, finding excuses to travel, and traveling for no reason.
