My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a bit bookish and shy. I love science and learning about the Universe around me is my passion. I try my best to be polite and respectful; my mother didn't raise me to be a cad. I'm a total geek, I love comics and collecting things. I love eating, cooking and baking. I think my interest in food stems from the fact that it combines my interests in science, history, culture and nature into one pursuit. I try my best to dress well, but sometimes miss the mark just slightly. I love bicycles. My bike is my main mode of transport and I love the satisfaction of tuning a bike to mechanical perfection. I also love camping and fishing, but I rarely do either, since few of my friends share these interests.I play guitar and love going to shows. I especially love local music and indie. I love reading and discussing books. Politically I am on the far left, but I try not to be pedantic or smug about my politics.

In terms of personality, I am sincere and goofy in pretty much equal measures. I love propagating bizarre inside jokes, but I also have an affinity for being romantic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Doing social media stuff at the bike shop I work for and teaching myself web design.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Conversation. Which should be noted, does not mean I talk all the damn time. I'm just as good at listening as I am at talking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sense of humor or my penchant for brightly colored plaid shirts.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love reading and discussing books. My favorites are: A Wild Sheep Chase, A People's History of the United States, The Baron In The Trees, My Name Is Red, Pride and Prejudice and The Handmaid's Tale.

I mostly enjoy independent and foreign films along with anything ridiculous or campy.

I like watching Antiques Roadshow, and Dr. Who on Netflix.

I am a music geek, so I could go on and on...I love The Breeders. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars will always put me in a better mood. I'll always sing along with Rhythm Nation and some days I just want to be alone and listen to gloomy 80s British indie.

As an avid cook, a list of my favorite foods would be far too long to be interesting. When going out to restaurants I enjoy Japanese, Greasy Spoon and French food the most. My grill was stolen last year. Once I replace it, a glorious summer of grilling and chilling shall commence!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Bicycle, science, a cast iron skillet, my computer, good beer and espresso.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The mechanics of the bicycle and the universe. The history of the potato and Anarchism. The shape of my hands and of things to come.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Petting kitty cats, reading, biking, sleeping.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like people smells.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're a super rad girl that likes any of the following: Bicycles, kitty cats, home cooked/baked treats, neurotic men, beer or snuggling.

You're cooler than me. Not in a mean way. In a nice way that makes me want to do things on a Friday night that aren't hanging out with cats and reading about military aviation in World War I. I like doing those things, a lot, but variety is good.
